Not new - Mixed material in container
Order came in today. Wife opened up and asked me if I purchased used lava glass. I said no then she proceeded to show me what was in the container. There was corn kernels, sun flower seed shells and other items I could not identify. (see pictures). Not happy and concerned where this may have been and why it is not "NEW"

Glass Beads Melted after first use.
We used these glass beads last night on our new fire pit. After a couple of hours we saw that something was glowing. First we thought wow cool. But today in the morning we found out that the beads had melted and ruined the fire pit burner. Also this could have been dangerous since it was basically melted glass. Don’t even know if it would be worthwhile to return them. Very disappointed.

A Big Disaster: Not recommended!
I have a Outland Firebowl 870 Premium Outdoor Portable Propane Gas Fire Pit with lava rocks and Ignis Products 8 Piece Wood-Like Ceramic Log Set . I placed some these glass beads around the bed of lava rocks and ceramic logs. In less than an hour, the glass beads melted and fused to the lava rocks and logs making a massive mess. Upon attempting to remove the glass flow from the logs the ceramic logs broke in two.

I love it! The fire reflecting off of the glass ...
I purchased this because I wasn't a fan of the lava rock that came with our small fire table. After reading reviews, I went with the Bond glass, and put it over a layer of lava rock in our table. I love it! The fire reflecting off of the glass at night is beautiful. We have only used it about 4 times so far, but have had the fire on for quite a long time each time, and the glass seems to be holding up well. One jar was more than enough for our pit. I used maybe 3/4's of it, so have extra in case I ever need it. The blue is very pretty under the flame.

Blue/turquoise embers
Loved this fire glass. I went with a smooth glass for safety and I'm glad I did. The Bodega Blue was a darker and more turquoise color than shown in the pictures during daylight. But at night they are brighter and reflective from the bottom and from the top they look almost like melting ice. It's like blue embers.

Quality is so-so
The glass looked nice when it arrived, but the blue color discolors a bit in the heat of the flame and some of the glass rocks have begun to crack internally from the heat.

These look great!
We put these in our fire pit instead of lava rock . Lava rock holds moisture causing rust - this doesn't. This doesn't have sharp edges - nice if some find their way to ground and someone steps on it. We really like the color and shininess of these.

Absolutely gorgeous! Stunning improvement to our fire pit.
Beautiful and looks amazing at night with fire glittering off them, almost looks like mirrors would. So happy I went with these over the colored options which was pure luck since the color I wanted was sold out. 20 lbs was perfect for filling our Salta Propane Fire Pit. Have used them for two nights now and no cracking or discoloring. I chose these over the broken fire glass so that I didn’t have to worry about curious hands getting cut by the glass.

No different than a cheaper brand glass
I have a wall mount propane fireplace. I originally used similar looking glass purchased from the Dollar Store. They started to peel and I felt that maybe it was unsafe to use, so I purchased these given they are specific for fire. They peel just the same as the Dollar Store one's, but at least I feel a little safer that they are meant for fire. It is a big container and there is only small space I have to fill, so I have lots of replacements. I purchased Amber and I don't find it really shows up that much - I could have used any colour. That could be the type of fireplace I have though.

good quality for the money
We love these in our outdoor fire pit. What a nice change from lava rock. The only issue we have is that we can't have the gas vent completely covered as the rocks kind of suffocate the vent and the gas travels laterally through the rock. Now that we have cleared some of the rock away from the vent, it is working well.

Great Addition to My Fire Table
I ditched the plain and ugly lava rock included with my table and bought these pretty little gems instead! A lovely addition to the table - I get a lot of compliments on them. Very pretty!I've seen reviews of having some of the lava glass pop/crack with being heated by a fire - nothing has happened yet and we have used the table about 3 or 4 times for quite a few hours each time. So far so good - I would buy these again!

Nice Stones
The stones work really well to make the look of the fire pit very nice. Note that you might need to purchase two or more of them because in my relatively small (~2ft x 2ft) pit, I could not have only the rocks cover the circular gas ring so I had to leave lava rocks underneath them and put these on top. (or I would have needed two)
