I was looking for a nightlight for my kid's room. My plan was to switch it on as I was leaving the room (once she was asleep). Unfortunately it is way too bright and would wake her up. I am going to use it in the bathroom instead.

Very dim light. If you want a bright light or want to at least light up a bathroom or a small room I would advise to not get this. Almost all of these LEDs are not really going to lie upper room or even a bathroom they’re going to give you a very very tiny amount of light. If you want a Night light that actually lights up the room at least a little bit get one with a bulb not an LED. But if you want just barely enough like to see it in a small bathroom this would work but in a big bedroom no it’s not going to give you any light

Well, it won't wake you UP when you go in the bathroom. And enough light to get to the pot or sink. But really not very bright at all. Still, made well, and the itty bitty bulb (not a Christmas type) should keep on truckin' for a while. My last one lasted two years (but was the 7w holiday white colored one).

I like this light because of the on off switch. Which it was just a bit brighter.

I read the other reviews before buying this light and thought that I wouldn't experience the same "this light is more dim than imagined" experience, but sure enough, the light is much dimmer than what I was expecting. I used this light in a small, windowless bathroom, and it still was not bright enough to illuminate everything *well*. I believe that a lit candle is actually brighter than this night light.No complaints other than that. Everything about the light works as expected. I can see this light being good for baby rooms and maybe thin hallways, but definitely not anymore than that.

I wanted a nightlight to replace one I had for ages that just recently failed. I like to use these lights in two places in my house & like them to have an on/off switch. I thought this was a match but I failed to read the details. While this looked like my old school nightlight & does have an on/off switch, it does NOT have a replaceable bulb. I would never have bought this if I had been paying attention. I see no point in buying any light that is useless once the permanent LED burns out. I don't understand the thinking behind any lights like this - once the LED is gone, the unit goes into a landfill. An upgrade from the ones I was using would be something rechargeable when the LED burns out - either auto solar recharge (like an old alarm clock I wish I'd never gifted away) or some other way to recharge. The light I was replacing is well over 25 years old and while it did need a new 4W bulb maybe once every year or so, at least the light itself lasted for decades (the other one I have is over 20+ years old & still going strong). Further, I prefer a softer light & have not found any LED type light that suits me for a nightlight. This was no exception - I didn't like how the light reflected up onto the wall instead of diffusing out & I didn't care for the hue. I think I found a true match to replace my old nightlight (GLOBE ELECTRIC 7W Soft White Night Light) so am crossing my fingers & ordering some of those. I will keep these for backup I suppose but would not reorder.

I have an outlet next to my night stand in our motorhome but the light switches are all on my wife's side of the bed. This is perfect for me as I can read my Kindle (not bright enough for a book) then turn off the light without disturbing my wife. Of course it doesn't run on 12 volts, it needs 110 but we are usually in a campground with 110 service so it works perfect for my needs. I also have one on the wife's side so she can turn it on if she gets up during the night, that way she doesn't need to turn on the overhead light and wake me.

Was smaller then expected but still works really nicely. Has the perfect golden lightening. Feels very warm and cozy. It’s not super bright but I prefer i enjoy the way it is

This item came in a dirty package that looked like it had been sitting in an old town variety store for years. It shows in the photo as an amber color and it is actually a bright white shade and bright clear bulb. It is stark and not appealing.
