InvictaMen's 9743 Pro Diver Collection Gold-Tone Automatic Watch

I love this watch! For the money, I don't think you will ever find a nicer watch. I have had several comments on it with people thinking at first glance it is a Rolex. I have a friend that has the more expensive Invicta Pro Diver (apx $350 from Amazon) and unless you are looking very close, you can't tell the difference. Since buying this watch, I have purchased another Invicta watch (Invicta Men's Watch #2876) and it is equal in quality, appearance and style. I will be buying a few other Invicta watches based on the quality of the watches I have already purchased.

Nice looking watch with a sharp looking dial. Good value for money especially for an automatic. Gold plating looks nice without that fake look. I’ve had several invicta pro divers and this is no different. Stay away from the cheap quartz models and you’ll have yourself a nice watch given the movement and price

Short story is this: If you want a quality everyday wear, this is an excellent choice. There's some minor quibbles, but not enough to ruin the timepiece.Pros: Looks great, wears very comfortably for daily use. The diver's dial is a nice tool for taking lunch breaks, timing your trips around town, etc. The hands are easy to read, and the date is magnified by a smaller lens on top of the crystal. Not sure if that's a regular part of the crystal or glued on, but it's clear enough. This is also an automatic, which cuts down or eliminates the amount you need to keep it wound. The wheel that does the auto-winding is visible through a rear window, which looks cool. I generally give the crown winder 5-6 full turns before bed, so I have not had it quit on me yet.The crown itself is screw down to prevent water leakage, but I haven't had much occasion to take her underwater.Cons: Checking for accuracy once a day vs. nist.time.gov, I'm usually seeing this watch be about 5 seconds fast per day. Not terrible, but annoying if you're a perfectionist about your watch. The glow-in-the-dark portions of the hands and hour markings hardly hold a charge, so that functionality is useless. Finally, the diver's dial only spins one way, which is a tad annoying but livable.All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase. If they managed to make the glow-in-the-dark piece work better, this would be a 5-star watch for me.

You can’t beat this watch for the $$

Nice looking watch but mine was broken on arrival. The hand wind feature didn’t work. I need this because I have a desk job and automatic watches stop if I don’t wind them a bit every few days. Another thing I noticed is that because of the color of the dial and the color of the hands both being light, it’s hard to tell what the time is with a quick glance. I’m replacing this with the dark blue face model for that reason.

I recently purchased this watch to give to my groom on our upcoming wedding day (I don't want him to be late, you know!). So I have yet to find out what the groom thinks of the watch, but I think it is worth five stars. It is a substantial, heavy watch. It looks to be beautifully crafted and even the box that it arrives in is very nice. So far, I am completely satisified with my purchase. Perhaps I will review again once I hear what the groom has to say!

Great watch, great price. this is a good brand of watch, I have several of them. I got this one to wear to my niceses wedding in costa rica.
