I drilled a large hole in the top for my Anova heater to use as a water bath. Easily sturdy enough, very limited water loss and plenty of capacity to do things like 72 hour short ribs for a large group. Better than many containers marketed specifically for that purposes I suspect.

Great small boxes for storing whatever, but the lack of latch or secure sealing means unless they stay stacked in one place, it can be annoying to move them around since they don’t stay shut.
