Works well for the price
The bike mount does what it's supposed to do but has a few quirks, the fold away for storage only works if the clamp is tightened down. Use your own screws because the ones that came with it break half way into a common 2X4. Other than those 2 things it works fine.

Seem fine
Seem fine just had to return it because once it’s mounted that’s the position, there’s no adjusting and you can’t turn it

Simple Reasonably functional Bike Repair Stand
Well its more a clamp than a "stand" But if you have the right spot to mount it, aren't doing lots of heavy duty repair work, it will get you by with little dollars and little space used. The clamp is limited in its ability to stoutly hold the bike Good enough for regular chain cleaning and other minor work but the bike will move about some.. If you need a real stand - buy a real stand. This works fine for my intended use

Perfect for the occasional bike tuning
I wasn't about to spend the money for a full stand, plus they take up too much space. I mounted a crossmember between studs and used that to mount the bike stand. My bike is only 17lbs and has odd shaped carbon tubes, but this seems like it will do just fine. The folding feature is really nice as well.

If you have a pull up tower, toss the basic base and slide this on the dip bar.
I was about to return this because its mounting position limits it to only one orientation. I've already used the pull up tower as a makeshift bike stand, and though it works, some bike frames don't allow a full pedal stroke. I needed something that could easily be tucked away and of course for cheap (≈$20). I ran into this, but I'm sure it's just as generic as the other bike clamps, so get the cheapest one with the same design. I ditched the base, removed the thick rubber grip on the pullup bar and replaced it with some thinner tennis grips, and then slid this bike clamp snugly into the dip bar. When clamping by the seat post, the front wheel can rest on the floor, so there's two points of support rather than one. A pull up tower is naturally going to provide more stability compared to a dedicated portable bike stand, but of course mobility goes out the window and it's going to take up more space. If you already have a pull-up tower though, or if you're looking for an excuse to get one, you can easily double its intended use with the help of this cheap bike clamp.
