Perfect fit, pain to align (my first time so...)
Perfectly fit and ate walnut as well as pecan like it was pine.In all honesty, my only complaint had nothing to do with the blade. It's the installation and alignment that sucked. This was my first time replacing planer blades though and I think I figured out an easier way as a result of trying multiple things to get it right. For a more experienced woodworker, there's should pose no challenge to install and will provide a quick and sharp alternative to the more expensive blades. You do get what you pay for and I've only used them twice for small projects. But they are still cutting like new for now.Would definitely recommend for light planing but cannot say how long they last.

Great knives and the price was right
Great knives and the price was right.Super sharp so be careful when changing the knives, they will cut you quick!Frist time I ever changed the knives so I was a little apprehensive. Took about 30 minutes (probably should have taken less if I knew what I was doing) and boy did it make a huge difference. Had a small chip in my old knives for years but was too nevous about changing the knvives. So everytime I'd joint a piece of wood I either had to scrape or sand out the ridge left by the chip. Stupid, stupid, stupid! 30 minutes to change knives vs, all the time I spent sanding/scraping.

these PowerTec jointer knives made my jointer like new!
I've been struggling with my Delta 6" jointer for a while. I saw these knives on amazon so I bought them to give them a try before I got rid of the 'jointer'. Wow! now i know what the problem was- these knives cut so smoothly, they were easy to install and I have run alot of material over them in the last few months. No snipes, no tears. I should buy another set, you should too.

great value
I got these for my Delta jointer and couldn't be happier. I have only used them a couple times and they worked great, but I can't speak for how long they will hold up yet. They were literally half the price of replacement blades at Lowes and everywhere else I looked.

Did not realize how dull my old knives were.
It had been a long while since I sharpened or changed my joiner blades. These were a good price. Quick shipping. Popped them into my Delta 6" bench joiner and DANG! Did not realize how dull my old knives were. These join very smoothly. I recommend them.

Perfect replacement knives
I got a 6" delta jointer at an auction and these looked like the rusted knives that were on it. I ordered them and they fit and perform perfectly.

Less than 15 minute switch out
Bought these for my Delta 6” jointer as replacements after a stray nail took a chunk out of my factory knives. After a quick switch I was back in business. Good quality, still cutting strong.

Must be made in China - edited review
I changed out the oId bIades and instaIIed one set of new knives for my benchtop PIaner. I ran two pieces of 24 inch spruce through to test out the setting, and both edges of the knives foIded over Iike tinfoiI. These are not hardened steeI. Not sure where you can buy good knives, but you certainIy don't want to buy them from the company that provided them to Amazon. Not sure if there is a non-Chinese company that makes knives that wouId fit this modeI, but it Iooks Iike I wiII have to make my own; which is what I wanted to avoid in the first pIace. Time to fire up the forge.....wife won't be happy.AdditionaI info: Ok, I switched out the first set described above, for the 2nd set (I bought two sets) and I ran some mapIe through my jointer, then some waInut, then some cherry. The 2nd set of bIades do a pretty good job. I wasn't sure what the probIem was, so I puIIed the two test pieces out of the burn piIe and had a gander. It appears that the spruce; which is supposed to be a softwood, had some very tough knots. The edges that roIIed over were in Iine with the knots on the spruce. I guess I wiII have to avoid "softwood" with knots, because the knots in this spruce were harder than anything I have ever seen in oak or mapIe. I'm going to sharpen the 1st set of bIades and see if the probIem appears on other woods. Maybe the 1st set was just a one-off.

Tiny chips and imperfections !
Price was great but both blades had nicks and imperfections, when it comes to planning this is just no good nor acceptable.by the time I had opened these months later after purchase it was to late to return, Lesson learned, always inspect first even if your not going to use right away.

Seem to be good value for the price
These weren't the exact blades for my jointer however I knew this when I purchased them. I had to filed the line up holes a little wider. After that they worked fine.
