A beautiful piece of jewel for your kitchen.!
I was searching for a nonstick thick gauge pot for making Indian sweets, which are made with thickened milk ( almost like a milk fudge) milk is very easy to stick with most pots and pans I was unable to find suitable pot. I have been using nonstick pots which mostly contain teflon coating and are made of Aluminum, so I wanted something made of either cast iron or cast steel. Inloked into cast iron options but either too heavy or cleaning can be difficult or needs a lot of care.! So I opted out for cast iron option. Then I found this amazing pot which made of cast steel and the coating is nontoxic. So I decided to give it a try. Once I ordered it, the delivery was prompt. Tge packing was beautifully done.! When I opened the package I fell in love with this beautiful pot.! It is one the best of it's kind! It has a very good weight to feel but not too heavy like a cast iron.! It is beautifully enameled with a nontoxic ceramic material.! It has a beautiful color, both inside and out.! I already tried to see if it serves the purpose I bought for and I am thrilled to announce that yes it exceed all my expectations.! The milk cooks on a slow flame without sticking to the bottom and it gets thicker quicker than the pots I have been using.!!!!! Cleaning the pot is super easy too. Just soak in water for a few minutes and wash with dish soap. Doesn't need any scrubbing or hard work.! I really appreciate this manufacturer for their amazing creation of cookware. I really liked it very much and I can say this is made for generations to last.!! Truly amazing and I can strongly recommend others. It is a worthwhile investment for your and probably for the next generation too.!!!

It's a winner for no knead breads from 3-4 cups of flour.
I wanted this for baking bread, and making soup. This 2 1/2 qt size (10 cups) is perfect for a 3-4 cup bread recipe. I don't know why recipes always recommend 5 qt pots. As you can see from my picture, the 3 cup recipe fits with plenty of room for a 4 cup recipe.I found the information lacking in the description, so I was forced to read the enclosed little brochure. Here are some highlights. This pot is oven safe to 500 deg. Don't bang spoons on the rim of the pot, you might crack the enamel. Don't put a hot pot in a cold refrigerator, or on a cold counter. You can pre-heat it in the oven by putting it in when you turn the oven on, otherwise you can put it in a hot oven too. It's better to use wood or silicone utensils for stirring. Do not use harsh cleaners, or pot scrapers just mild soap and warm water. Keep a gas flame under the pot that does not exceed the diameter of the pot. The pot is dishwasher safe, but I always wash by hand. Handles get hot. Warranty: Lifetime on manufacturing defects, and 5 years for the enamel layer. The pot is very easy to clean if you don't use swiss or other sticky cheeses in your soup. (Yes, personal experience. Next time, liquid cheese sauce!). I always use parchment under my bread dough when it rises in the basket before baking. Then I transfer the dough to the pre-heated pot. No clean up! Finally...this pot is beautiful!

Performance + Beauty
I have a lot of carbon steel and cast iron but always stayed away from the real expensive enameled French stuff due to cost alone -- I can afford it, I just refuse to pay that much on principle given there are way less expensive alternatives with the same performance albeit not as pretty to look at.That said, this little Dutch oven on sale (the name "Le Creuset" and the words "on sale" are like oil and water) delivers both the performance I demand with a beauty I've never wanted but greatly appreciate now that I have it. At 2.5 quarts it's perfect for an intimate dinner for two where the meal is served at the table. The relative lightness of carbon steel compared to cast iron makes this easily manageable,I've only used it once so far but with all the pieces I've had over the many decades of my life I can tell when something is well-bilt and going to last.

Light, EZ clean, beautiful indigo, the best option for me
Not able to lift like I used to b/c of injuries & age, so my enameled cast iron, which I love, is being used less. It will go to my daughter. This is the lighter weight alternative, recommended by a national kitchen store chain manager. SO much lighter, cleans as easily as the other brand, and love the indigo color. On the down side, the darker interior enamel makes browning harder to gauge, there isn't quite as much cooking surface b/c the bottom is rounded on the perimeter, and the lid doesn't have as tight a seal b/c of the no boil over feature. Overall, it's worth the trade-off for me. Hope this helps others find what's right for them. I also own the 5.5 quart of this line, and use it alot.

My go to for 1 pot meals
This pot is everything. Its cooks well and is actually the perfect size to cook for a family of 6. I have made soup, pasta and vegetables in this pot. Its become my go to for quick dinners. I have never purchased a pot like this before and I'm glad I invested in it. Its beautiful but also functional it has not stained on the inside or outside from cooking. I clean without abrasives and I use silicone utensils. Totally worth it.

Great Dutch Oven!!!!
This is Debbie Roberts and this is best Dutch Oven ever. It cooks perfectly. Made a roast on stove top and only took 1 1/2 hours. In the oven it would have been 6 hours. And so tender. No more worries if I’m running behind and don’t get the roast in the oven or crock pot. Now this in MY GO TO. And cleaning when I just sprayed it off and every thing came right off. If you want fast and easy cooking and clean up this is the product for you!! And did I mention this is a high end product. You cant get a better looking Dutch Oven anywhere. This pic is before I put the lid on to cook.

Beautiful and Quick heating versatile Dutch Oven
I bought this Dutch Oven to bake no knead bread. At first I was worried that because it wasn’t as thick and heavy as my smaller cast iron Dutch oven, I thought the bread wouldn’t bake as nicely but boy was I wrong! The bread came out beautifully and it has faster heat transfer than my cast iron or All Clad stainless pots. I have ditched my spaghetti stainless pot for this one which heats to boiling in half the time!! The Dutch oven is gorgeous and is definitely my go to pot for the even and quick heating. It is also a dream to clean!

liked it but...
really nice and a good price but it chipped right away on the bottom. The enamel came off, another person said the same thing after one use.

I have had a Dutch pot for 50 years and finally needed a new one. .
I received my new pot and appears to be flawed. The enamel coating started to pop off. It was going everywhere.. I complained and they have quickly put a replacement in the mail which I should have soon. Hopefully this one will be good!I received my replacement pot and it is also flawed. A crack and missing enamel on handle am so disappointed. It is being returned and money being refunded.

Not too heavy
This arrived in perfect condition in its own branded box. This pot is not as heavy as some others on the market, which makes it easier for those of us who have health issues. It's made to be used with any type of oven or hob, apart from microwave, so it's an ideal gift as you won't be giving something that isn't usable. It is on the expensive side, but most times, you get what you pay for, and hopefully, this is one of them; only time will tell.

Brilliant Dutch oven
This is a fantastic enamel Dutch oven. It's top quality. It's just over 3kg and holds just over 5 litres. It's great that it can go in the oven as well as on the hob as the handles are heatproof.I love the colour - black exterior and a beautiful deep indigo blue inside. While the enamel is not completely non-stick, it's still relatively easy to clean. Finally, it goes in the dishwasher fine and is just small enough to fit on the bottom rack without alongside plates.

Great for the price
I have tried this oven on the hob, making casseroles, and it works very well. I kept an eye on it as it began, very slightly, to stick, but an occasional stirring sorts that out. The enamel seems to be thick, and it's very easy to clean after use.I also used it as a Dutch Oven for traditional sourdough baking and, once again, it really does the trick. If you find a heavy cast iron DO out of your reach financially, this will do the job very well. It's also lighter to handle, which may be a consideration for older people.

Great large capacity pot.
This 5.2 liter capacity pot is just amazing and very easy to use. It is lightweight product (3.2kg) which makes it very easy to carry wherever we need it.Suitable for induction, gas, electric, ceramic, halogen and oven safe until 250° CThis pot serves 5-6 people. It heats evenly and cleans easily.Heavy duty very good quality product.I usually make bread there(which comes out incredibly tasty ) because that was the intention when I get this product but my mother uses it for a variety of dishes.A really recommendable product for a reasonable price.
