This is a good book. I like it...

I am new to Steampunk and just received this book. There is information about the artistic movement of Steampunk and other alternative fashions, the historical inspirations, basic supplies, techniques and design ideas. I am going to enjoy learning about this design and creating some of my own fashions inspired by this book. If you are a beginner or new to this design, this is a book for you.

This is an interesting book, but it didn't give me what I was looking for.

I have really enjoyed this book. I was interested in the designing aspect of various outfits and found this book to be very helpful. It includes good instructions and diagrams. The information about the use of color was interesting as was the history of steampunk. I would definitely recommend this book.

I like all of the variations of Steampunk design shown in the book.

This book is beautifully written and illustrated! The dresses and men's designs are amazing! The choice of colors and mix of fabrics are so interesting. I'm so happy with this purchase - I ended up buying several more as gifts for friends and family!

Not exactly what I thought the book was going to be. It’s more of an album then anything.

I love this book, great for designing outfits for steampunk or even historical. Starts with drawing the mannequin, then its broken down into different types of steampunk outfits then different items of clothing.

Bought for son as he loves Cos play/costumes etcHe was over the moonAnd was quite impressed that I even knew what steampunk was - don't think he knows I'm only 43 not 93 lol

Love this book! Has several ideas for costumes, plus gives you a basic Steampunk history, as well as the different categories of costumes. It’s helped my husband & I a lot, as beginner cosplayers.
