A stealthy pen that can fly under the radar in any setting
The media could not be loaded. I generally like stealthy-looking matte black pens, and this one is about as stealthy as they come. I chose the option with all black trim, and the overall appearance with its matching black nib is truly monochromatic, classy and understated.Unlike most Chinese pens, this one arrived in very nice, tasteful packaging which would be quite suitable for gifting purposes. The box is a nice size and feels durable enough to reuse for pen storage or other desk organization. It even contains velvet lining, which adds to the luxe feel of the package. It also comes with an instructional pamphlet with tips on how to maintain and rehydrate the pen after a period of non-use, which may be helpful for the novice fountain pen user. Please see the unboxing video attached. As for the pen itself, it surprised me in a few ways:1) it comes in a medium nib, even though most Chinese pens only have fine or extra fine options; this is favorable for showing off more ink properties especially when writing western script2) it is quite slim and lightweight despite having an all-metal construction, and its combination of portable size and durability makes it suitable for EDC3) it utilizes a snap cap, which makes it easy to deploy for quick notes4) despite the polished packaging and artsy brand name, nothing about pen itself is flashy or pretentious; in fact, it is so understated that it could easily escape the notice of curious coworkers who might get handsy with fancy-looking fountain pens.Other nice features of this pen include its sturdy, easy to use clip, and the fact that the cap posts quite securely without compromising the ergonomics or balance of the pen. This strikes me as a great introductory fountain pen for anyone, and very much a workhorse pen - one that can go anywhere and do its job well, whether at school, at a business meeting, or on the go, while somehow managing to avoid calling any attention to itself. It's my very first "Picasso"-branded pen, and it probably won't be my last!

This one is a winner from China.
Sophisticated presentation, beautifully boxed, sturdy and well presented. The semi-matte finish is clean, consistent and soft (for a metal finish - I don't mean like cotton.) The pen is medium weight - all metal. Delicate smoky chrome buttons at top and bottom. The clip is simple, smooth bright chrome, reminiscent of a Raymond Loewy design. The attachment to the pen cap is even with a minimal seam. Cap has a nice smooth friction fit. The medium nib also has the smoky chrome finish and this complements the company logo and design engraving. Where the barrel and cap meet each has a simple red band that appears to be an anodized aluminum finish. The two bands meet perfectly but with different diameters. This provides a simple, hardworking yet sexy appearance. Like James Bond. And all of this doesn't break the bank. Buy one. You'll see.

visually pleasing
This fountain pen has some of the best-looking proportions of any I’ve enjoying writing with. There is a visual balance to all the parts that few pen makers achieve. The metal construction gives it an appropriate heft that feels just right for the size of pen, and the finish on barrel and cap have proven quite durable since I started carrying it in my pocket.Capped length is 5 ¼” with a petite diameter to match. This pen is ideal for small to medium size hands but feels a bit short in my large mitts when I write with it not posted. Which brings me to my only criticism of the design – when you post this pen it becomes top heavy. Likely because of the relatively small size of the barrel, the metal cap pulls the pen backward when resting in your hand or writing. It’s certainly not a deal breaker, but it does detract a bit from the joy of writing with this one.The cap makes an excellent seal around the nib, and I’ve never had a problem with the ink not starting after it’s been setting a while unused.Overall, it’s easy to rate this one five stars and highly recommend. It’s truly a beautiful pen that has outstanding ink flow. Those are two of the most important factors when it comes to a writing instrument.

Edit: looks and writes wonderfully. Cap posts super securely.
Edit: The seller contacted me immediately after I left the bad review to ask if they could send me a new pen since the first one I received had some issues that I listed below. The new pen came in quicky and all of the issues I had before are non existent with the new pen. The cap posts securely and it doesn't dry out. It writes beautifully and is as good as a pilot metro, if not better. The pen looks great and it writes just as well. The seller was very courteous and quick to respond to my emails. Although the first pen I received was no good, I understand that it happens from time to time and as long as the seller is willing to make it right, Im happy. I would highly recommend this pen and the seller. I definitely won't hesitate to do business with them in the future, their customer service was fantastic. I can't say enough good about the way they handled the issue and how professional the person who contacted me was.You won't regret buying this pen from this seller. A+The pen looks magnificent and that's where the compliments end. It writes very poorly and is very rough feeling. I'm using high quality inks and none of them perform well at all. The cap doesn't post securely, so it tends to come off very easily and if you're carrying the pen in something fabric, you're going to have some stains to deal with.Maybe I just received a bad pen and the majority of them are just fine. I don't know, but I would save yourself the disappointment and just purchase a lamy or pilot metropolitan. They write much better and the caps actually post securely.I really liked how this pen looked and was hoping it would write just as good as its asthetics, but I was let down. For what it costs, it should be able to write well if nothing else. I know in the world of fountain pens this model is on the cheap side, but 25 usd for a pen isn't cheap by any stretch of the imagination.I normally don't leave really bad reviews, so a product has got to be pretty disappointing for me to do so.

Bonita
