Log Splitter-Kindling Splitter-Wood Splitter-Firewood Splitter – No Axe!

The media could not be loaded.  We had a tree fall last year and were left with fairly large logs that need split before we can use them for firewood. My husband can easily split wood with this cutter. I am a 5' 6" woman and I was able to use this as well. The top bar that you slide the weight up and down on is rather wobbly, but still secure. The bottom bar (which screws into the wood) is very sturdy and secure. It's a pretty easy mechanism to use and feels much safer and easier than an ax.

I am 81 years old and can no longer swing a mall over my head. This works very good for me. I bought this one to replace a similar one that I had for many years. This one is a little easier to use.To be sure this is not the tool for splitting large logs which should be obvious. But it works quite well for me splitting fire wood for the fire place.It gives me exercise and helps me stay independent.

The media could not be loaded.  This was a good purchase! With seasoned wood it does a good job of splitting the wood in a very few strokes, depending on the size of the log. Green wood is not as easy. The placement of the splitting head is easy. If you have just a few logs to split or occasional need for smoking meat (that’s what I use it for) then this is a good choice. For big jobs I’d go with hydraulic.

Unless your logs are cut perfectly square, it can take two people to use this tool. It can be used to slice small pieces for kindling as advertised, but can take some getting used to. I'll reserve final judgement until I have used it a few more times.

The teflon washers seem to be a good idea for shock absorption but during the first day of use the top washer has cracked. The wood that was being split was small rounds of oak. As you can see from the attached pictures shows this work should was not heavy duty work, simply a design flaw in the teflon washers. The picture showing the split wood is all that has been done since unwrapping the Speed Force as a new splitter.

Amazing! My kids (ages 13 & 16) split a ton of logs! I chopped a lot of wood to. This device is easy and fun to use. I’ve never split logs this fast!! We split a cord of wood in about 3 hours. PLUS, this is an amazing cardio workout. I LOVE it!

Costs half that of other similar devices. Super-easy setup and doesn't get any easier to use. High quality materials.Due to back issues I can't swing an axe anymore, and this lets me split wood better than I did when I could chop wood.

This item is amazing and we use it daily- but it does not work well for wet wood. Other than that I would buy it over again as it makes starting the fire a breeze

It is a good product but how and where you set it up will make it more or less effective. So the set up is important.

KV wellness will just tell you the return window is over and any issue is a result of ‘normal wear and tear’ so no warranty applies.Too bad because the splitter is ok, not faster or easier, but much safer.The bushing failed before finishing two cords of spruce.
