Bella Maria, Fried Salted Valencia Almonds (6 pack)

Unbeknownst to us, two of the containers that arrived at our home had slightly popped open lids with the safety tab still intact. There were black ants crawling inside the two containers. Since there are no other instances of ants in our home, nor was there a trail of ants to the containers, we can only assume that the containers already had the ants in them when the shipping box arrived with the containers of almonds. Either way, they containers still arrived with open lids. Unfortunately, we had left the containers in the shipping box for easy storage and didn’t notice the open containers until we pulled one of the open containers out of the shipping box to give as a present. The product is not returnable according to Amazon’s system. I’ve sent a message to the seller who stated they’d get back to me. No word yet.UPDATE: I was issued a refund for the two open containers. That said, the almonds in the other packages have been fantastic. Absolutely the best almonds I’ve ever had in my life. The only issue I would have is that they are a bit too salty.

I am not pleased that for such an expensive item, 2/6 containers arrived damaged. I love this brand, but to be unable to return/exchange when something like this happens is ridiculous.

We love these almonds. And have ordered them in the past. This order came with three of the containers cracked and the almonds all over the box. So 50% of the order is not edible. What can I do.
