This shovel works great on moving small plants.

This spade is easy to use with less effort than the conventional spade. In sod to remove dandelions it works great. Just remove a plug of sod with the dandelion root, split the plug and remove the complete root and plant. Replace the plug. Planting bulbs is a breeze. Works in all types of soil. The nine inch blade is quality steel. It actually resonates a 🎶hummmmmm🎶 when struck with a stone or hard object. The long handle is lightweight and delivers the leverage needed to be a joy to use. My wife and daughter both enjoy using it in the flower garden for splitting hostas.

I love this shovel. Does that make me weird? Probably. Do I care? No. I needed to did 12 holes in rocky clay soil and this shovel was the only thing saving me from losing my mind. Highly recommend!

Very well made ... should last forever. Much better than regular shovel when you have hard packed clay soil. Just wish it was about an inch or two wider.
