Nice hat but way too big. I ordered 2 hats that read 4-6 years old, and 2 hats that stated 6-8 years old. I ended up needing to gift both of my 7 year old nieces the smaller ones. The size 6-8 hat fit me and I'm almost 30, definitely could pass as an adult size.

My son could only wear it for a few minutes before he took it off because his head was too hot. Kinda defeats the purpose.

My son loves the hat, but one of the button snaps didn't work. I purchased a button snap kit and replaced it, which I didn't mind much because it was a fun project. One of the main selling points for this hat was the ability to button the sides up (my son loves Jurassic Park and wanted to button his hat like the Muldoon character) so I deducted 2 stars since it didn't fully function when it arrived. Also, the string that keeps the hat from blowing away is a little fuzzier (frayed, I guess) than I would like, so adjustments aren't smooth and the quality feels lower than expected.

Bought for 2 of my younger at grandsons. They loved them and perfect fit for a 6 and 7 year old!

This hat fits grandson perfectly and he loves the pattern so I know he will wear it.
