I got this by amazon Prime so it came by fast. The box is about medium size and is a squire so it is easy to store it. It does have some weight to it so be careful.Pros: You can play this zombie RPG board game with 1 to 4 players. The zombies are yellow small figures that can stand, unlike the other items and persons. If one person understands how to play this game, then it will still be easy to play it with other people that do not understand. It can kill time. One last thing is if you do not like a certain rule or want to make it easier, you can do it (unlike video games). So you can change this game around to make your own little zombie board game. And on a plus side, you can really feel how hard it will be with an outbreak. It comes with Cheat Sheets so you do not have to read the big white book again to find what you are looking for.Cons: Too many zombies can come around fast (+4 zombies on each player per turn). It took me around an hour to read the big white book and to understand everything. Max is 4 people. Not enough Event cards (in my taste because once all of the event cards are gone the game is over). Some of the rules sound a bit vague. Hard to kill one zombie.Overall; It was a good buy because zombie video games are missing the point in every zombie fans heart, it is about survival not killing the zombies. Having a board game also lets me to bring it to parties or group activities which is a lot easier than bring a console. Playing all by yourself will bore you and make you more likely to cheat.

We had a lot of fun playing this with 4 people! It took a bit of time setting up and reading through the instructions but we expected it. Some of the instructions seemed to contradict each other but we just picked what we thought it meant or what we thought it should be and kept going.We also were hoping for more co-op aspect because it got to where 2 guys were throwing zombies in each others yards and knocked each other out pretty quick.You can also change the rules to make the game harder (or easier) which is pretty cool! Or you could even change them to make it more co-op. Lots of flexibility!

This is a fun game. It would be great if THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE MORE DETAILED. There are so many things that can happen in the game that aren't cover in the rules. When you drive back from town, can you shoot out of your car? Does that take another turn? Honestly, I could write 2 dozen situations that happen in the game not covered by the rules. Having said that, a friend of mine bought his own copy of the game after we played it. In general, we did like it. But, if you asked me if I would buy it again - I probably would, but just barely.

I purchased this game to play with my family unfortunately we've never finished a game. The instructions can be a little complicated/confusing. It takes several minutes just to get set up and have everyone make their selections and by that point people are already getting annoyed. If you're the type of person who can sit through a game of dungeon and dragons or a long game of monopoly then you'll probably have the patients for this but unfortunately we didn't. I really like the concept of this game maybe if I find some like minded friends willing to play a round or two I'll come back and update my review.

There is a lot more pieces than expected and might not be for the more impatient players. Takes a bit to get into the rules without looking it up all the time but best when playing with 3 or 4 people. It could just be how my cousins and I play but it took us way more than 90 minutes to get even halfway through.

My son is into the zombie frenzy and learning anything and everything written about them and the whole world apocalypse thing. He was incredibly surprised and excited when I purchased this as a gift for him. Although it takes a bit to get through all the instructions for the first game, he and his friends have found it to be a fun endeavor. This is a game for anyone interested in zombies, strategy, and getting away from the tv and computerized gaming systems. The game was shipped quickly and professionally. It was a reasonable cost. It's a recommended purchase for anyone over the age of 13.

It is fun just to sit around the table with loved ones to play this game. The directions are rather involved though & takes a long time to figure out. Some of the directions are too vague. There were 4 of us playing, & we played for over 3 hours without an end to the game.

Fun game, long but interesting. Games can become very competitive and take a lot of thought to complete. Does not help strengthen friendships though!
