Good value for a thread that has been dependable for 160 years!

This thread is great. It holds very strong and has a nice stretch to it for using on spandex/lycra mends. Does not fray at the end when trying to thread through a needle. I am a cyclist/triathlete and need to mend triathlon gear from time to time and this threat is perfect for that.

Gutermann’s thread is great qualit, it doesn’t fray or break while sewing, whether it’s handsewing or machine.

Over priced item when you can get you one for $5.99 had to return.

I use a few brands of good quality thread in my machines (including Gutermann) but I have only ever used Gutermann thread in my new sewing machine that I invested in 6 months ago. It is the perfect thread and so far, regardless of what I'm sewing, it is yet to tangle, break or shed. Having only ever used Gutermann in this machine its stand out quality is even clearer because even after 6 months of use there is no fluff build up in the machine. I love it! I find the1000mtr spools to be incredibly good value as well.
