Update: 27/01/2020 The trail cameras were up for two weeks and were a real struggle to get down from the steel columns = top marks for the magnets!I've also now removed the wee philips screws and rotated the locking levers on the parent hex head bolts by two 'slots' (120°) -making them easier to lock in position without the levers clashing with the bases. Extra photo uploaded.Result = I'm very happy with these. 👍🏻👌🏻I haven't tried this in its intended role yet (holding trail cameras on the vertical steel columns of a barn to monitor rodent activity for pest control, but the magnetism feels very strong and it's well made.On issue for my role is locking the ball socket at various angles inc' at 90° to the surface, the lever clashes with the suface.Also I spotted it wasn't forecast to arrive until the 22nd, then it just arrived eleven days early!Cheers. I bought this to mount my insta 360 one R on my peugeot. I used the selfie sick to raise the camera. I placed it on the front bonnet passenger side.(I tested it on a very quiet country road near Aberfoyle (Scotland)I was very impressed with how secure the camera was. This mounts magnetic hold on the bonnet was incredibly good.Anyone who reads this will understand how expensive the 360one r is and the fear factor involved in this.I drove to speed limits and the mount captured the car, the scenery and the passengers.The mount can be fully adjusted and angled if the bonnet is sloped. (Very useful).I wanted one of these mounts for a long time but they can be very expensive. This one is the best value one I have found. It is excellent and worth buying

Great pulling power on the magnet and in confident the device will do the job its meant for. Lost a star for me as the 'tightener' was spring loaded and loose. I took the device apart only to realise it is loose for a reason - to help you tighten it when it hits the base. (I swear this makes more sense when you have the product in hand). So I faffed around for ages and considered a return before realising the device is actually made as intended. My fault really but this was not clear at all.

I bought this to attach my gopro hero 7 to the roof of my car and many other metallic places. It is very strong and you need to give it a good tug to remove it from your surface. I've used it at over 70mph on the roof of my car and could say it would atay put at double that speed.

I am more than pleased with this magnet (size small). It is very, very strong and seems very sturdy as well. And the rubber coating makes sure that it won't damage any surfaces. I am using it for my GoPro and for quite heavy battery powered LED lights for GoPro, but this is no task for this magnet. I'm actually looking to buy two extra of these magnets.

The product is not of good quality because the bottom of the base has magnetic shards coming out which cause when using it on the car, those magnetic shards scratch the paint of my car. I am very sorry to see scratches on my car caused by poor quality equipment from your company. You should have inspected and checked carefully before sending the product to the customer. I am very sorry for the loss. It's a waste of money and time to remove scratches that shouldn't have happened to me. I would like to express my opinion that you should not buy this product because from what I have purchased it appears to have negative effects that may result in wasting more money from use.

The magnet is very strong. You may want to rethink placing them on cars it was difficult for me to slide off far enough to pry it off. But your camera will likely stay stuck on, so YAY!

Powerful little suckers. Had a different brand before with a smaller base but these appear to be more solid than my old one. Oh yeah, who ever warned us about 2 sticking together? They are right a knife and a screw driver to separate. CAUTION. Mine was an accident. Drop both on a bed and clap!
