Carbide bits can do what other excellent quality drill bits can't. Need to drill into stainless, fiberglass or a piece of mirror? These are useful. Now with the mirror I only used the carbide bit to start the hole. Diamond burrs made the actual hole.Common complaint is breakage during shipment. This needs to be looked into and solved. The smallest bit is less than 12 thousandths of an inch diameter. At that diameter and being made of hard material it might get broken by looking at it cross-eyed. All my 0.1 mm arrived in pieces. A couple of 1mm bits also didn't survive the trip. If you expect 100% good parts I'd suggest a vendor that prices their bits at $5 or more each. If you need the 0.1mm bits don't buy them here. You will be disappointed!I'm hoping to be contacted about the broken bits. 80% survival still works for me. I was about to place a $75 order for 10 bits.

These micro-drill bits were exactly what I was looking for but was a little disappointed when I received them. Although they are color coded with a color collar on each shaft, there was only 1 size (0.0354 with Brown Collar) that had the size stamped on the collars. One of the smallest bits (Orange Collar) was broken when received. The damage was not due to packaging or shipping as the rest of the set was received in good condition. It appears that the one bit was packed in the case that way. Oddly enough, there were no markings or identification on the case, inside or out. I will have to generate my own color & size chart from the product description. See pictures.

I've bought and used small diameter drill bits before and only occasionally broken a bit. These bits are so brittle that I broke one removing it from the box with my fingers. I tried using them but each bit broke immediately when a small amount of torque was applied. I could not drill in brass or plastic.I will probably send them back fora refund. I had to use my trusty 40 year old small drill set to finish the job.

Nice collection of basic bits, considering the price. Unlike the other similar drill bits sold at Amazon, this one comes with the case (the other shows the case but reviews say they come in individual sets of 5). Drilling has been clean and has met my expectations. Obviously be careful as these are tiny bits - use them on a CNC machine and be careful with the programming. I don't recommend using these by hand as they will be very easy to break.

These tiny drill bits break if you look at them wrong, so it's good to have a bunch of them. These cut well and hold up just fine. I wish they were marked better, but I usually end up checking the diameter with a mic anyway.

Nothing wrong with the drills but they come with a foam sheet across the top inside the box. Any jolt and the small drills snap. Second set was fine though after it was replaced.

Rarely do I write a report, but this is just not cool. The box is nice, but the bits come unlabeled so good luck figuring out which is which. Worse yet is that several of the bits were broken off before they were packaged - I know this because the missing fluted cutter was not in the box. Disappointed.

The box and the drills… but the shipping box is fine. Meaning it wasn’t trauma to the box that caused this. It’s a sender issue.
