Solid budget aviators
First, I did receive these glasses free for the purpose of testing and review. While I recognize that a review of a free product is fundamentally different from that of a product for which one has paid, I do take the review process seriously, and am hopeful that my findings will prove helpful to you in your decision making. If you have questions, feel free to post them in the comments section and I'll do my best to answer based on my own experience with the product.What you're getting with this order:(1) Pair oversized aviator sunglassesAppearance: These are classic aviators with red wire frames. The temples are metal, but depart from the frame of the wire and are thicker. The temple yields to a plastic ear piece which takes up about 2/3 of the length of the temple/earpiece.The bridge is also wire, thicker wire than that used for the frame. There are adjustable nose pieces to maximize fit and comfort. The lenses are dark and offer UV 400 protection.Function: Lenses offer effective relief from bright sun. The glasses sit symmetrically on the bridge of the nose and the nose pieces easily adjust as needed. The hinges have just the slightest bit of hesitation to them, not unexpected at this sub $20 price point. Ear pieces hold comfortably at the ear.Build: The wire frame is thin around the lenses but widens at the temples giving these glasses a sturdier feel than many other aviator type designs. Nose pieces are plastic and easily adjustable. There is some minor movement where the plastic ear piece meets the metal temple that obviously should not occur.Bottom line: This is a sharp looking pair of aviators with red wire frame and silver bridge and temples. It has sturdy hinges and the only weakness I can find is some movement of plastic ear pieces where they meet the metal temples. They are likely to please many shoppers looking to maximize appearance and function in the budget price range. Enjoy!Bottom line: This is a nice looking pair of mirrored aviators that though vulnerable feeling at the hinges have so far held up without difficulty.
