Absorbency Off the Charts
These are great. The charcoal absorbency is off the charts. Where does the blood go?! I can use just *one* of these to manage my flow *all day* on my heaviest days, and that is no small feat. I had to change double cotton pads two to four times on heavy days. The only drawback is that the square ends are a little bulky and can be seen at the back through tighter fitting clothing. The designs are exactly as pictured. Both materials are nice and soft. I'm going shopping for a set of smaller ones right now!

Amazing, after trying regular reusuble cotton, these are a miracle
I ended up switching from disposable to reusable when I started to get allergic reactions to disposable pads and they kept getting more expensive. I first invested into a reusuable organic cotton pad but they were a bulky overnight pads that moved around, non resistent to stains or odor, didn't absorb well, and they were a complete mess to clean. The washing of pads before throwing them to wash wasn't appealing to me. However, I came across these pads when i was looking for comfortable alterative pads that actually worked as advertised. These are amazing, the comfortable microfiber layers makes this pad so comfortable to wear, that I often forget that Im wearing it at all. It's comfortable and thin like wearing those very thin disposable pads so you don't feel like your wearing a diaper. Furthermore, the colors are vibrant and beautiful and each pads was well made and packaged individually. I invested in a wet bag since these pads don't come with them. I notice that these pads prevented odor and they seemed to help with my cramps as well. Furthermore, the darker color of the main pad makes it more visually appealing to use and easier to clean than the white reusuable pads which stain like crazy. I also love the fact that the pads fold into cute little envelope shapes so i can carry them in a small wet bag with no problem and the five pads give a lot of pads to work with, when there might be days when you need a couple of spare pads on hand. I'm considering ordering another set since they work so well, but the five pads seem more than enough for my needs at this time.

A Good Alternative to Disposable Pads
This was my first order of reusable menstrual pads. I was excited to find an alternative to disposable pads! Nice designs (exactly as pictured), fairly comfortable to wear and very soft. They bunch and twist easily- especially overnight- but aren't much worse than regular pads that also bunch and twist.I've used them through 3 cycles as a backup to tampons (heavy bleeder) and have had no issues with odor or stains. On the odor point, they are superior to disposable pads. They seem to be very absorbent because I have been totally unaware of leakage that I would have noticed with other pads. They are thick enough that you cannot wear clothes that are tight (except jeans), but not thick enough to feel like you are wearing a diaper.I follow the washing instructions that were included with the pads. A very handy addition! They have held up through each wash without any issues.I would definitely recommend trying these if you're on the fence. If you're tiny, young or are looking for more of a liner then I would recommend a smaller (shorter) set. I am considering buying more of these in other sizes.

Great reusable pads at a very reasonable price.
I just bought these, and they did a great job. They feel about as thick as an "ultra-thin" disposable pad, and their length is between that of a super/long or an overnight pad. The absorbency is certainly comparable (maybe better) than an ultra-thin overnight. Best of all, I never had that "sitting in my own wetness" feeling with these. The blood quickly absorbs into the pad, and is actually held there, I cannot say the same for disposables. Each time I checked, I could only see a tiny bit of blood - a thicker glob - that hadn't soaked in, but the texture of the cloth kept it feeling dry and comfortable. My only complaint: One of the pads had some of the thread come loose on the wing, and I had to sew it back closed. I did use the pad before fixing it, and there was no problem of leakage.Positive: Comfortable. quickly pulls away wetness and keeps it there. Very absorbent. Long enough to not have any accidents when changing from standing/sitting/laying down. These are a great introduction to reusable pads, or a supplement to an existing collection.

Extremely happy with this purchase
Extremely happy with this purchase. I was actually shopping for a menstrual cup, and ran across these and decided to give them a try. Honestly I thought they'd be humongous, thick pads that I could just wear at home or to sleep in. Much to my surprise, these are shockingly thin and extremely absorbant. I experienced no leaking. They are very long, but I had no problem with them staying in place. In addition, they are super soft, feel nice against the skin and washed up great. No sticky stinky pad mess, leaks, or any of the problems I experience with disposables. I have never tried other more expensive brands of menstrual pads so I can't compare, but I can say I am now a believer. To top it off, one of my pads had a defective snap. I let Shop and Smile know and they went above and beyond to make it right with lightning speed. Awesome product and customer service!

Good Product
My first time using cloth. It was an adjustment. I normally wear thin pads so these felt like a little too thick. However, they don't show if you're wearing jeans or a fabric of similar thickness. They slide a little when wearing them. I did feel that they held a lot of liquid. I'm a medium flow. I hand wash and air dry, So far they have held up very well.UPDATE - I've been using these for over a year now. They have held up very well. Machine or hand wash. Air dry. I prefer not to wear these if I'm going to be out for an extended period of time simply because I don't like the idea of carrying around a used pad. But if I do, I carry a small cosmetic bag with a plastic Ziploc to wrap up the used one and hand wash it as soon as I'm home. I wear them with compression type panties. That helps hold them in place. They absorb well an keep you dry. My vagina is happy with these. I would definitely buy more.
