I have a tube connecting my hvac’s condensate pump that has been clogged in the past. This brush is exactly what I have been using to prevent another clog. Works like a charm. Two different diameter brushes are useful.

I've had a 150g tank running for a little over a year. I could observe the visible portions of my intake and output lines getting more and more clogged, and was afraid to know how ugly the rest of the lines were. I also noticed the volume of water being cycled was quickly diminishing almost weekly. Came to Amazon in search of a fix and found this gem. The reviews seemed to be very positive, almost to the point of triggering my standard skepticism. Could something this inexpensive really clean these lines out with a single run?Fast-forward a couple weeks later and I bought a set, took down my intake/outflow lines, and put this thing to the test. Was concerned this hose brush would be too short to pull through the length of my lines, as they're rather lengthy, running from the cabinet beneath my tank, out the back, and over to the far corner. My tank is an XH (extra-tall) tank, so it requires really long lines to get up and down the glass. This thing was just long enough and seemingly perfect-sized to pass easily through my lines. The only slight pain point was the back-to-back 90-degree turns in the plastic intake/outflow pieces going over the edge of the aquarium, though it only took a few moments to find a way to maneuver the brush through. Was in absolute amazement at the amount of gunk this thing pulled out. The visible portions of my lines looked brand new and after re-assembling my lines, the system was pushing some serious water again.Equally important was how quickly/easily these brushes cleaned up. Thought for sure it was going to be a real mess getting the gunk out of the bristles, but everything rinsed right out in seconds. Honestly looked like they'd never been used.One of the least expensive purchases I've made for my tank to-date, but far and away one of the most valuable. Could not be more satisfied with this purchase. Highly recommend to any serious fish-head!

The bristles aren't as quality as I thought they would be. Don't know how long they will last before the bristles go flat, but they're cheap enough that they can easily be replaced. I wouldn't recommend to someone looking for a product that will last a long time. The middle part is a bendable spring that makes it very convenient for cleaning long aquarium hoses.

I used this to clean the 3' tubes for my ZooMed 70gal filter and it worked well.

This cleaning brush is the best thing in the world. I have always stressed with cleaning the hoses for my turtle tank. Turtles are messy and accumulate A LOT of filth, especially if you feed them in the tank like I have been doing. I could never get the hoses clean. I had to hook them up to the filter, prime it, and circulate water from them into a bucket just hoping it would push most of the scum out. It didn’t work that well and the second I’d hook the filter up to the tank, all of the debris would come out into the clean water.This thing saved my life. I pushed it through (which was very easy) and every bit of scum came out. The hoses looked brand new!My only complaint is it wasn’t quite long enough, but it honestly didn’t matter. Once the scum was loose, I took the brush out, ran water through and all of the yuck came right out through the other side. This brush took 30 minutes off of cleaning time! I may order a few just to have them. If you have a turtle, this brush is a MUST!

I got this to clean out some tubes for my red ear's tank. I get they can't be very sturdy because they need to be able to bend and move through stuff but I literally have to fight with it just to get it through a tube. The bristles do clean so that's a positive.

I bought this to clean the tubes on my canister filter. It works well. I only have to pass it through the tube a couple of times and it gets everything. After I use this on the tubes I put a little water in the tube to flush the gunk out. For the price you can beat it. I have also used this to clean the U tubes on some of my filters and it works for that even. Very easy to clean. If you have supper long tubes this will not go all the way from one end, you have to go from each end, but that is generally not a problem.

Algae and gunks were building up inside the tubes of my aquarium canister filter for the last two years. In the past, I tried cleaning the inside with a power washer but were not able to get it clean. I purchased this cleaner and crossing my fingers that it will help clean the inside of the tubes. I received the item and thought to myself that this looks flimsy and may not work. I was too fast to judge because this cleaner helped clean the inside of the tubes within a minute or two. When I ran the cleaner through the tube, it got rid of a ton of algae and gunks. My tubes are now looking like when I first purchased my canister filter.

Just works so very well when cleaning all the different hoses connected to our aquarium.

This is a good quality item which does a great job of cleaning aquarium tubing. Very handy.

Really great cleaner for filtration hoses and lily pipes. Since im using clear hoses I want them to always look clean. This product does the job!
