I probably should give this a 3 star review because of the price but due to the avg life I've experience I'm not too happy. I installed this lamp on Aug 6, 2016. It died on September 29, 2016. We're not heavy users either. Did I receive a lemon? I dont know. But this is still the best price out there. I ordered another on September 30, 2016 and installed it on October 3, 2016. Guess we'll see how long this one lasts. If it doesn't last long then this will be a $40 experiment I'll regret and move on to a more quality lamp. I'll keep you guys posted.10/5/16 Update: I contacted Exclusivebulbs customer service and they were very pleasant. Asked me to do some quick troubleshooting with the faulty lamp. Once determined that the lamp was the culprit they are sending a replacement out at no charge. They mentioned that the lamp was still under warranty. Excellent service. I am updating 1 star. I will update again once I determine the avg life of these bulbs.

Great Value and alternative to the prices that the manufacturer (over $100). Working great so far.UPDATE.., I bought this lamp in 2014 and it worked well for a while. Several months ago the picture started to get dark, to the point we had to close the curtains to watch tv during the day. I figured I would check Amazon for another lamp and I see this is still available, now the price has dropped from about $40 when I bought it before to about $17 now. Trying to decide whether to spend $17 for another year or two, or spend $80+ for other recommendations on here. As others have said, you get what you pay for, but $17, I still thinks it's not a bad deal, just may have to replace it more often, so I only dropped one star. Hope this helps!

Works great as a replacement lamp for our Samsung TVs, and is a great alternative to the name-brand (more expensive) options. Can't tell a difference. One thing we were worried about was how long it would last, but it hasn't been noticeably shorter than the name-brand lamps.

This bulb worked great. Very easy to replace on my Samsung tv. Slide the old one out and slide the new one in. Then screwed the small access door closed. Nice picture and has been working great.

Upon installation this bulb flickered in brightness for hours before settling in to one level. Then, less than two months later, it burned out. The retailer was quick to send a replacement free of charge, but that is showing signs of instability in its brightness, and I don't expect it to last a lot longer either.

Original lamp in my DLP TV burned out and was taking awhile for my warranty to replace it, so I decided to purchase a lamp myself.Lamp arrived well packaged. I've opened package and let it sit for a while in room temperature to prevent condensation. Once lamp was put into the TV, it started up no problem. But right away I've noticed that something was wrong... Initially there was a flickering on the screen, that disappeared once it fully warmed up.But later, there was another side-effect that became apparent. During the bright scenes, screen was suddenly getting dim, then bright again (another type of annoying flickering)...Once a replacement lamp from warranty company has finally arrived, none of the defects describes above re-appeared. Hence, I can conclude that this lamp is of a poor quality.

My Samsung HLT-5676s was giving me a lamp error code. I ordered this lamp and had it the next day thanks to Amazon Prime. Anyhow.. fit perfectly, and I changed it in approx 30 seconds. Replaced the cover, plugged it in, and the tv fired right up. The TV looks bright like it did when it was new. I am not sure of the longevity, but we got 4 years out of the OEM lamp, and out TV is on constantly. Samsung wanted $150 for this.

Bulb was easy to install. Picture is bright and crisp again !!! Will buy more as needed. I hope these continue to be easily available because they work great and are priced right !!!
