Great cheap grinder, broke after ~5 months
I've had this for about a month and a half now and it still works great. I use it with the aeropress and just make coffee for myself. Would not recommend for multiple people unless you want to grind double. Timing on grinding while waiting for the tea pot to whistle is about perfect. I bought this one for 9.99 as it was the cheapest at the time. Look for the same thing with different brands here on amazon and grab the cheapest like one. When grinding there is enough room for the handle to not catch my finger when going around even pretty fast. It is some thick steel and feels well built. I don't expect it to break anytime soon but who knows about the inner parts. It's been a month and a half and so far it still works. Time will tell how it holds up.Has multiple grind settings, since I use the aeropress I grind it as fine as it goes.edit on 4/29/2016: I was grinding today and heard a snap. I attempted to take it apart and put it back together. It won't work. All I can tell that has damage is a small plastic piece has a crack in it that is under the bur (the part that grinds) So the grinder itself is fully intact, but something isn't working on it. With some struggle I may get it to grind some coffee but it's not working right at all and nowhere near time efficient. Unable to adjust setting after the snap. I'd love to keep it at 5 stars but will give it 3 as it only lasted about 5 months of everyday use. I only make a cup approx every 3 days average. Some days 2-3 cups, sometimes I go 1 or 2 days without coffee.Honestly really want to like the grinder but it no longer works :( it was only 9.99 don't know if I should buy another once it's that cheap or try another bur grinder.Edit on 11/29/16: This grinder is broke, but I got a new one of the same style called the grind about 4 months ago called The Grind. At the time it was 8.99. That one has a lifetime warrenty so they say. Look around for similar ones they are good and I still like them. 5/5 as long as they work.

Fantastic grinder
This grinder is worthy of all the great reviews posted here. This is my first encounter with a conical ceramic burr grinder and they are everything they are cracked up to be. My spinning blade grinder created far too much powder when trying to get the kernels down to an espresso-sized grind. The knob has plenty of range and makes a perfect espresso grind with the knob backed off about 3/4 turn away from fully tightened. Coffee made with my old grinder (and it's fine-powder grind) was bitter, and if I backed off to a coarser grind the coffee was too weak. This one makes a much tastier cup of coffee. My original reason for buying this was to see for myself if a conical burr grinder really made a difference before I buy a more expensive motorized grinder. However, after using this for a while I got lazy one morning and discovered my cordless variable speed drill was capable of clamping down on the grinder post and I can grind away effortlessly. Since I use an AeroPress to make just one cup at a time it's not a problem to stand there holding the trigger a short while. I realize using a "real" motorized grinder you can set the number of seconds and away it goes but how lazy do you want to get? Using the drill I can grind it in less time than it takes to heat the water, not a claim I can make when I use the hand crank. Yet the grinding speed is slow enough that the ceramic burr is barely warm to the touch. I tried higher speeds and it got fairly hot so I backed off. It is probably spinning at the speed of a very experience person grinding at top speed so I don't think I'm doing any harm. I'll update this post later when I know more about the possible consequences.

Worth It
Quite a nice little grinder for the price. It made consistently uniform granules and was easy to use. I haven't perfected changing the grind size yet but it's not too hard to figure out. So far it's easy to clean and reassemble. My only complaint is that the company does not appear to have a working website as a Google search yielded no results and the link on the item box is broken.

I almost always only use the moka pot (Bialetti Brikka 2 cup) so the finest grind was almost always used
I've bought this as my main and first manual grinder a year ago.I almost always only use the moka pot (Bialetti Brikka 2 cup) so the finest grind was almost always used. The finest grind was not the finest a manual grinder could output (compared to my friend's Hario) buy the consistency was rather good.Later I received a blade grinder (yes, I am aware to the blade grinder's disadvantages compared to the conical grinders..) and I could definitely sense fuller tastes of the coffee with grinding with blades, compared to this Arrosta manual grinder. The cleaning was relatively easy with this grinder, and I usually did not do a thorough clean but rather a few shakes and bumps to expel remained chipped pieces. After a year and a couple of months this grinder broke (see attached pictures). The specific part which broke was a black plastic part which is pressed against the conical grinding head as you turn the knob to adjust the grind to a finer consistency (this pressures the grinding "head" to create less "slack" for the grinding). All in all, I am well aware that this is a generic grinder, together with all the other obscurely named brands which sell almost identical products, on a on a good day looks like a mediocre copy of a Porlex.Compared to what it costs, it's a good choice, but not more than that.

Great for single use.
I have this grinder at my desk at work so I can get fresh around coffee. This is a bit of work but am loving this grinder. You can change the grind which is a nice option. It doesn't grind a lot though so this is definitely for only a single cup.

Great if you want to workout. Be prepared to turn that handle A LOT to grind anything.
