HannahSmart Heavy Duty Large Capacity Insulated Shopping Bag, Purple

This is a light duty insulated bag for carrying groceries home from the market or keeping something cool for an hour or so. It does not look like the photo. The color is accurate but the shape in the accompanying photo is deceiving. The bag is not boxy - squared off at the top. It is more like shopping bag with a zipper on the top.

I love it these bags so I decided to buy one for a friend. Her favorite color is purple. They sent me a blue one even though I ordered purple. I posted a Review giving them four stars dropping one because I got the wrong color and really gave it no more thought. Low and behold I just received a purple bag in the mail. Now my friend will get the color she loves. I use the bag as a gift bag. It holds the present for my friend and the keeps on being useful after the holiday. The bag is great for groceries. I now have six of them. They are big enough that I can usually get a weeks worth of groceries into three bags. I love the bag, and now I love the company for Great Customer Service!

This bag is not heavy duty but is good for "take-along" and pot-luck when visiting friends and family. Definitely not sturdy enough for everyday use or oddly shaped items. Ok for a few containers of food and adding an ice pack but will fall over if not stacked evenly.

Replaces the identical bag, which was used at least twice a week for two years almost to the day. Good Size, adequate insulation for frozen foods.

In California, we have to take our own bags to the grocery store or they charge us an additional 10 cents per bag. These bags are wonderful. They hold a lot and are lined with metallic to help keep items cold. I bought four and use them all the time!

Bought 3 bags in April 2016 and loved them; they also looked like the picture. I would give the bags I received then 5 stars. I ordered more bags in May 2016 and there was a big difference between the two orders in terms of quality. The newer bags were a lot thinner and it didn't take long for them to start ripping. They also were a different shade purple as shown. I've had these bags for a year now and would buy again if they started selling the dark purple ones again.

seams are cheaply sewn, had to re-sew in like a month, bag started coming apart

I was looking for a bag that was a little larger that what I was using, this fit the bill. And I like the fact that it zips across the top.
