Works great
I bought this to replace a cheap electronic one that would show 0psi if I turned on my headlights! You really can't beat a mechanical gauge for accuracy, this one is easy to read, and very reasonably priced.

Bosch Oil Pressure assy
The pros: Got it installed and it worked. The cons: Crap fittings where if you think you're getting close to tight, you're already too tight. Pulled threads on the compression fitting on the engine side. Took more care on the gauge side. They should send this kit with an extra compression fitting set for these times.

With these F-150 5.4L 3V engines, you need a positive indication of oil pressure.
The F-150 oil pressure indication on the dashboard is NOT an oil pressure gauge. Ford decided that all you need to know is whether you had "some" oil pressure. The signal comes from a SWITCH. I'm adding a real gauge so I have an actual pressure reading. I'm teeing into the 1/4" oil sender port and adding this gauge.I'm spending a lot this month buying parts and tools for a Timing Chain job on my 2007 Ford F-150.My pickup has a 5.4L 3V engine that is known for Timing system problems related to low oil pressure. This will be a full rebuild using a Ford OEM parts kit here on Amazon. Ref: "FordTechMakuloco".This guy has a step by step set of videos that will help even us backyard mechanics to get this job done.He has a list of the needed tools and parts too. I'm well into this project now and am SOOOO GLAD that I followed his advice. I replaced the weak oil pump with a high volume pump from Melling and also pulled the oil pan to clear out old bits and pices of the plastic timing guides. This was a bit of a challenge as my 4X4 needed a front axle drop to get the pan out. As with the other videos, it became a dirty but smooth task. You can't go wrong following this guys advice, he has a first class operation.

Quality item.
Nice gauge. Great price for quality item. Has all the needed fittings unless you need metric. NOTE! The enclosed tubing is stiff and coiled. You need to use a heat gun on LOW and slowly heat it as you uncoil it or find another type of tubing.

Can't go wrong with Bosch
Used this one on my LS Engine stand to test oil pressure. Worked like a charm.

Oil guage works ...
Not near enough tubing comes with the product, easy enough to mount. Tubing snapped less than a month after install.
