Fiance sprayed me with a hose. Otherwise great.
The reviews about them being too thin are wrong.Yes, they feel thin and light, but the silicon is an extremely good insulator. You don't need a ton of material to protect yourself. I imagine most of those reviews were from people used to thicker heaver gloves, but these are just as effective. I took a heavy pan out of a high broil today and barely felt it.The colors and shapes are fun and they are extremely easy to clean. The only down side is they aren't deep enough to cover the palm of a normal sized hand. For light items this is fine. But for heaver stuff that requires your whole hand this could be a problem.I won't say I've definitely chased my fiance around the house pretending my hand was a shark, but I did. She ran outside and when I followed she sprayed me with a hose, so maybe don't do that. For the price and quality you get for it, I don't have any reservations in recommending these.

Too thin
I’m only keeping these because they help to hold hot chickens and other hot things to cut. They’re too thin to hold a pan with a lip that will go between the ridges of the mitts without getting burned. I got them to use with my Ninja Foodi. I had to go back to using pot holders. Very disappointed.

Very dangerous. I burned 3 fingers really bad instantly.
We ordered two pairs, which came in today. I tried it out the same evening, to remove the fry pan at 450F from the Ninja Foodi Grill and instantly burned 3 finger, like I used my bare hands.Never felt pain like this before. Very, very dangerous product. Do not buy!!!

Safety & easy to use
I purchased a pair for myself from TJMaxx ($8) that are thick, comfortable no burns & fit perfectly over the fingers. This eliminates the bulk of fabric pads so you have a secure grip on heavy pans & casseroles. I decided to order pairs for a friend & niece as a gift. The ones sold here are DEFINITELY TOO THIN to be safe. I read another buyer’s review where she put one inside the other & the thickness is perfect. Thinking about gluing them this way, but question what happening when cleaning them with soap & water. Don’t know why company didn’t just make one sturdy, safe pair instead of packaging 2 thin pairs. I’ll gift them with an attached note to double them for safe sake. Would NOT RECOMMEND unless you don’t mind doubling them which felt okay. Not sure how secure they will be.

Woahhhh, much hotter than any other hot pads I have
I bought these for my oven-style air fryer. With this type of appliance, the "pans" are perforated so your food can cook on all sides which means they are often dripping with hot juices or oil, making it difficult to remove with cloth hot pads. Silicone oven mits seem like the best solution - and for the price these were an easy choice. Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews - which are accurate. These mits are adorable and they're a small size which is nice. They arrived in a timely manner and I popped them in the dishwasher right away so they were ready to use the next day. Unfortunately, they are very thin and allow a significant amount of heat to transfer through. My air fryer oven gets up to 400 degrees, which is much lower than the threshold mentioned in the description for these so I was rather surprised to find that I could feel so much heat through them. I think they provide enough protection to keep me from getting burned but your brain isn't really accustomed to feeling heat while holding a hot pan so I naturally almost dropped the pan the first time I used them.I wouldn't recommend these to others but since I have them, I will probably use them myself and just deal with it. That said, I certainly wouldn't use these on a pan or dish that is thick or holds heat more than the thin, coated aluminum pans in my air fryer. I would also recommend not using these on items coming out of an oven set above 400.

They get hot!
These little mini mitts are cute and I was looking forward to having something which takes up less space in the drawer but the problem is that they get hot. It isn't enough that the mitts can withstand the heat.....it's not good that they conduct heat as well. If I want to hold onto the cookie sheet while I'm taking the cookies off the pan, I have only about 10 seconds before I have to drop the pan. If I had a hot pot of pasta to pour boiling water out of I wouldn't be able to hold on long enough to empty the pot with these mitts. Also they don't open up a whole lot and they're not very flexible so it's difficult to grab certain pans. I'm a little disappointed.

Great for small folks and quick hands in oven
I love these little mitts because I have small hands and regular potholders often turn out to be dangerous flopping around as I try and get things out of the oven, or turn the dish. These are perfect you have to be mindful/aware that you only have part of your hand covered.

Handy small mittens
Perfect for holding small items like mini rice cooker pot, small toaster oven tray, etc. The holders have good heat-resistant silicone.
