Very good product
I suffer of flat feet and always wear medical insoles. Previously I used to wear really expensive tailored insoles. Decided to just give it a go, since they are quite cheap and looked rather professional. I need to say that although I just wear this product for a week or so, it looks really good, same as my tailored jewelry worth insoles. No regret. Just one important point to consider: I wear size 8 shoes, this insoles are 7 - 8.5. I had to cut them to adjust the size and I need to say that they're just about perfect. If I needed to cut them more, i.e. if I was a 7 - 7.5 size, I am not sure whether the insole arc would be well aligned to do the job. Consider it when buying them.

Great arch support.....slightly in the wrong place for me though
These seem to be very well made, however, as other reviewers have said, they are extremely difficult to trim (I have those kitchen scissors designed to cut through meat bones & I still really struggled.....anyone with joint issues in their hands or stiffness will not be able to cut them, and will need assistance). The heel cup is very comfy whilst still being supportive and the arch is just the right height (I've tried others that were a bit too proud) however it is too far forward to be ideal - I realise this is the trade off for buying 'off the peg' products rather than custom orthotics, which I'm not prepared to shell out for at this point in time. Would definitely advise popping them under your feet out of the box to see if the arch positioning works for you before trimming the front (like I did).

XS - an appallingly large fit, and badly positioned "support"
Sized as an "XS" - extra small, for sizes 3 to 4.5.I'm a size 3.5 (left foot), and 4 (right foot). I expected to have to trim them (no easy task, as they are fairly robust plastic underneath). However, they were about 4cm too long. When I positioned my heel deeply into the heel cup, the arch support was positioned under my metatarsals, so even if I'd trimmed them down to the correct length, they wouldn't have actually supported my foot, but rather distorted it. My sister has size 6 feet and tried them, and they were just about OK (but still with the arch too far forward).Returned them for a refund.

the extra money is worth it.
Bought these since my previous insoles were wearing out very fast, replacing every 1 or 2months. They were also made of foam so they became very smelly if I didn't change them. Been using these ones since may last year (7-8months ago?) and I'm still using them.they're a bit harder than I was used to but once you break them in they have a bit more give in them, my feet don't seem to sweat as much with these so the smell is not really an issue. In terms of how they work support wise, I've not had any pain in my feet at work while using them, I tend to develop pain again in my feet with cheaper insoles, which I normally take as a sign to replace them. Not been an issue with these.so if you are put off by the price of these, don't be - you'll make back the difference over time. Writing this review as I order a second pair for some walking boots.I have size 10-10.5 feet and they fit perfect for me, I did read that some people have issues with the sizing.

Medical full length insoles that really do work
The person these were bought for had foot pain, mostly in the heel, that also hurt sitting at rest. He could no longer go for walks and often found walking around the house very painful. After careful research about insoles I decided to try a pair of these. They were delivered very quickly and need minimal snipping to fit. It does feel a little different with these at the beginning, but by day two they seemed totally natural. By day three my husband enjoyed a 2 mile walk across the fields with no discomfort. We have been so surprised and impressed with how much difference these insoles have made to the quality of life we have gone on to buy further pairs .The leaflet which comes with these insoles contains very useful information and stretching exercises . The Foot active website is well worth a look.

Just what I needed - pain in my achilles starting to reduce
I saw my physio after a couple of months of achilles pain. He suggested that I might need to see specialist for a custom insole but also suggested that I might look at these. They probably are not as good as a custom built insole, but my achilles pain, with the self massaging has now started to resolve and I can continue to train hard. Thumbs up!

Brilliant, i would definitely recommend
Brilliant. As good as previous insoles made for me by tha nhs. I have plantar faciatus, mortons neuroma and fallen arches. Have also had lumber spine surgery and the isoles seem to relief some of this pain in my back too!

Do not buy, a con and terrible waste of money
These are a con- please do not buy, a waste of a lot of money. They are too hard even after a 15 minute soak (I tried repeated soaks as they said 2 mins in boiling water) but still too hard (hard as concrete) after 15.Disastrous waste and con. I cannot believe they conned me into buying.I hope these get other terrible reviews, it should not be allowed on sale, please take heed.Visit a professional if feet are bad - it may even be cheaper.
