Byer California Junior's Mega Plaid Double Breasted Peacoat

First impressions...The coat feels sooo soft when you pull it out of the package, and it really is beautiful. It feels nice and heavy, and of good quality. All of the stitching looks even and secure with no signs of fraying or anything. The buttons feel securely sewn on (anyone who has owned a peacoat knows this is not always the case!) and they even have a little geometric flourish to them, instead of plain round buttons.I bought a large (what I wear in pretty much every brand) because I'm very tall with an average build. This coat fit perfectly. I would say it is very true to size. It doesn't look like a fitted coat on the hanger, but it definitely is once it's on, and it still has enough room to layer a thin hoodie underneath as well if you'd like.

I purchased this coat in my usual size of medium. Upon receiving the coat, I thought it was well made and was a very soft material. The sleeves fit great (maybe a little on the long side but I liked that) and the length was good as well. However, this coat was just too tight for me in the shoulders. I had trouble moving in it and knew it would be almost impossible to drive in. If the shoulders provided some elasticity, this would have been a keeper for me, but I had to return it. Because it was already a little long in the sleeves and the length was exactly what I wanted, I didn't get a size up as I feel that the coat would have been too big. Overall, great product, so soft, just not a good fit for me.

I ordered an xl so there would be room for a sweater underneath, but there was barely room for ME in there! On the positive side, the material is super soft and it appears very well made. Really cute but I can't justify buying a 2x when I wear a large usually.

I LOVE this coat, it is soooo pretty! the only thing is that it is snug...I can button it but am afraid the buttons will pop when I sit lol I wear a 12/14 normally... It looks fine when walking/standing will just have to remember to unbutton before sitting I love it though, very soft and warm and pretty on!

I really love this coat! It's so soft and fits exactly as expected. Very warm as well. Perfect for mild to cool weather.

The coat was advertised with having a detachable hood , was disappointed to see the coat delivered without the hood

Fits perfect, material is super soft, and it feels very warm but the jacket itself isn't heavy. I searched the women's coats for hours until deciding on this one and am very happy with the choice I made. 100% worth the money.
