If you want to make it easy on yourself, build the wiring on a bench instead of while sitting in the car. Took me a few hours for complete install but, most of that was removing the tailgate, drilling the holes and routing the wires 18 feet to where the head unit is located. Only con IMO is the lack of volume. No biggie, throw an amp at it soon. For most people the volume would be just fine.

So I've installed this unit and halfway through the setting up everything the radio completely stopped working, WTF? Asked where the user manual was and was told by the seller to contact the salesman, wtf? They are salesman, geezes! Anyway, if I can't get it working by tomorrow, I'm yanking p.o.s. and re-installing my old unit. I installed stereos for crutchfield for 5 years and thought I'd give this brand a shot and we'll, the service has sucked, the radio now sucks and I'm done spending time and money wasting my time on crap that can't even be supported. Going back to what I know actually works like pioneer, bose, Kenwood, etc, etc, atleast they actually work and their service support is actually useful. Yes, you pay for that but atleast your not getting ripped off! So save your money for something that actually has a legit rep!UPDATE 12/07/20: While driving to work, while trying to pair with my phone's bluetooth, my vehicle started sputtering and stalling. I shut down the radio and everything went back to normal. So I pulled into a gas station and ran this same scenario again so that if my vehicle completely stalled I wasn't in the road blocking traffic. I had the same result. The minute I tried pairing my phone and radio the truck started missing. So after work I removed the radio (honestly thinking I screwed up, I even had a Car Toys tech working with me to double check everything) and I was relieved to find my wiring of the radio was spot on. All my connections were soldered and heat shrinked correctly and after a close examination of the unit by Car Toys it was determined that an interior component of this product was shorting out. I'm still waiting for a response from this seller to my questions about a manual but since they have been Less than obliging to tell me where to get a manual I've decided to call it a hard lesson learned! Don't waste your money. I'm super pissed at this seller and they probably should stay away from Texas. I have purchased a new stereo and will have everything going soon but so far everything has checked good! I have 2005 Dodge Ram that's been my pride and joy and the thought I put this piece of garbage in it pisses me in off. it pisses me off even more that sellers like this are allowed to mislead people on Amazon! I don't want a refund, I want amazon to do the right thing, screw the money, I just wish amazon would man the hell up and ban fraudulent crap like this!UPDATED 12/09/20: Stereo was removed and a full diagnostic check was done to determine what damage if any was done to the factory computer after it was found that the stereo was sending a signal to the truck's computer to shut off, WTF? I've looked over the wiring diagram again and I question it's legitimacy now. I noticed it before but as any experienced tech can tell you spelling mistakes happen but on the diagram the wire labeled "PACK", I discerned as meaning "BACK", meaning "Sketchiest things I got a sketchy ass wiring diagram but no user manual and not service support! Nothing notta! You have to flip the diagram around to figure out what goes where when connecting the wiring harness. Just one more sketchy as hell thing.I will not say what it cost to find out if computer was damaged here but if you send me a message I will let you know, it wasn't cheap even though I have connections for discount, 10 percent is still only 10 percent and that cost hurt like hell financially!

I received one that messed up within a couple of days. The seller was very understanding and replaced it. NOW i have a nice stereo that works excellent! Was very pleased with the seller. Very professional!

This unit is ok. The best part of this is the backup camera. The camera is clear and a real life saver. I will note that it does glitch, but never completely cuts out, and that might just be a bad connection on my part. The radio works, and I can make calls and listen to music via bluetooth. The bluetooth media player that is installed doesn't always work in respects to the touch screen. Sometimes I can skip a song, but most of the time I have to control the music through my phone beacuse the touchscreen is unresponsive. Every other aspect of the unit works well with the touchscreen except the media player. The logo selector doesn't work either. You need to have a steering wheel control to select the logo you want for the unit. The mirror link doesn't work either. On the plus side the unit is wifi enabled do you can download new apps (some apps will not work with this unit).

I first bought the version without gps and I was happy with it other than the backup camera not working. I then decided to go with the gps version, which is great except the camera still isn’t working. I replaced the camera and wiring, and it still doesn’t work. The camera lights come on in reverse, but the receiver never switches over to camera. Also, the wire colors do not match with the labels or diagram.. it’s great if you don’t need a working camera, but it annoys me.

UPDATE 6/13/2020: after using it a few days, it randomly shuts off and reboots. The controls and touch screen quit responding for no reason. It randomly switches itself from bluetooth to radio. It isnt my install, this thing is GARBAGE! I have a Pioneer in my truck with no issues, I have a cheaper similar one in my RV with no issues....Installed this in a 2008 Ford Escape and just the vehicle itself was a pain to work with. After getting it installed I find some of the features like logo boot wont work. My Escape does not have steering wheel controls and apparently this unit requires that for setup. Even after the proper install kits installed, which was an additional $60, the cars display only says "dvd".... so it doesn't interface with the car as it should. Sound quality is horrible. The "gps" is google maps and not an actual gps although it has a gps antenna. Well, ya get what ya pay for and after the extra expense and labor, I'm stuck with this. Overall 1 star, the camera quality 3 stars, it isnt sharp but useable, the screen seems clear enough although I havent played video on it yet.

Works pretty well for the price and lots of customisations and apps witch is amazing.All works well so far

Fue instalado por profesionales y no funciono el radio era el motivo mas importante por el cual lo compre y NO FUNCIONO radio lo demas si funciona pero no es correcto, tambien es complicado contactar al proveedor para que me de soporte o que indique como se puede restablecer de nuevo
