One story says that the Goddesses Saraswathi, Lakshmi and Parvati wanted to test the chastity of Anasuya, who was reputed to be the epitome of chastity. So, they sent their husbands Brahma, Vishnu and Siva, who asked Anasuya to serve them food in her nude form. Anasuya made the Trinity take the forms of small babies and then fed them with no clothes on her body. It is said that Maharshi Atri, seeing this, invoked the spiritual powers and transformed the three babies into a three-headed baby, who was named Dattatreya.

Inaccurate description . False product
After investing so much money , what i receiving is totally a false product that is totally different from website description of the product . Display picture is nowhere in resemblance with this.Beware of such selling . request Amazon to post these honest reviews that can help other people.

Good.
It's a good , LordDattatreya idol.Quite heavy and small yet perfect for small altars or a travel altar.

Poor quality and finish
The idol is very unclear and not as mentioned in the picture. Quality, polish and finishing is also very bad. Face of the idol is also not clear.

Item not as per picture
Idol is not at all like the picture displayed for the item. I think this is not fair, raises doubts about the quality and autheticity of products, sold by Amazon.

Totally different product
The pic shown on Amazon and the product I received is totally different. I am totally disappointed by the product I received.

Is it cheating
The picture shows a different view of Dattareta. Where as i got an idol which is totally different. Disappointed as its a kind of cheating.
