Voltage Down Transformer Converter Sk-20e 220-240v to 100v 1000w Europe Etc

I purchased this unit to provide power to my new Japanese model Staxx amplifer. The step down was 230 to 100 V. My new amplifer went up in smoke and I could not understand why. I measured the voltage provided by this switching power supply and found it produced only 87 volts, low voltage. The low voltage condition ruined an expensive Staxx amplifer.

This is a good product. However, it is not suitable for Russia. Plug made ​​for EU. I do not know how it will work in Russia.

It seems this item is goog for devices with power > 100W. And it seems that this item is not very good for devices with small power.I used it for japan version of panasonic F-HXV50 air cleaner, Which is 100 V volatge and 43w power. And two times it's power supply gots broken.

Just read the information from the Japanese website, the is an electronic transformer special for heat applicance such as dryer only. Cannot be used with micro-computer consumer electronics, personal computers and other digital equipment.

I also tried to use this to power an amplifier, and it caused weird issues (including some smoking/overloading) until I measured, and confirmed the device only provides 87 volts. Do not use this product on any electronics you care about; I hope a better transformer will make my STAX amplifier work.
