Excellent fit with some minor additions.
=UPDATE=Just would like to mention that I recently used these on an outing at a huge hill-side park that had several dirt/rock walking trails and slopes. These shoes performed admirably and did not even rip or anything. That said, the soles (though durable as I walked on pebbles with no punctures or holes...I checked after I got home), it is thin that you may feel some of the larger pebbles underfoot at times. All in all, still my fav boots and I'm glad to know they can handle a lot.=ORIGINAL=These were the first footwear I ordered online, so with the mixed reviews on sizing I was a bit apprehensive, but these surprisingly fit very well. I usually wear something between 8.5 to 9 (regular shoes). So, after hearing that it's a little on the small size, I went with 9's and they were perfect. The only thing was the ankle area was a bit deep and therefore a little loose. So to fix that, I placed a heel insole. Also, using thicker socks helps too. The area going up towards the toes were definitely snug (in a good way) and did not wiggle. I also would like to mention that these are one of my "everyday shoes" and it has held up very well this past month of near-everyday use with no real wearing down. Like all shoes of this kind, you just gotta take care of it and do proper cleaning & polishing from time to time.

I like them a lot...Excellent Quality
I normally wear an 8 1/2 shoe size. For these boots I ordered a size 9. And glad I did. Toe room is comfortable for me. However, as with any pointy toe boot...the toe is an inch longer than a round toe boot. They are a little difficult to put on without a shoe horn. Very tight upper...but once you get them on, they fit great. Would also recommend you buy a good insole. As the sole is not the most comfortable, when new. But am sure they will break in a bit over time. The finish on these boots is really nice. Looks very much like real leather. And since I bought these for upcoming snow, ice, and slush, Am glad to have synthetic man made materials. Should be more water proof and maybe easy to clean them up, too.I did notice a slight odor when taking them out of the box. But nothing horrible. Have them setting outside with a fan blowing on them to help them gas out. But would not hesitate to wear them out as they are.

Too many catches...
Hard to get on and once broken in from a day of wear, are slightly loose. I can't imagine wearing these outside of going to dinner or something. Needs two pairs of socks due to a weird fit on me. Definitely not suitable for a trip to the mall or anywhere you plan on walking more than 50 feet at a time. I like the smell of petroleum. Others say they stink. So there is that. Yes, the toes are too pointy and I hear this was a fad that we've thought better of rather quickly. I might throw them in the trash in a year or two, or maybe not. Who knows? I felt like this was not money well spent when you can get a quality pair of Calvin Klein boots that are actually more timelessly styled for about 20 bucks more. I wanted ankle high cowboy boots with a high heel and this is not quite what this product is supposed to be, so beware.

Great for a wannabe cowboy boot!
Great, inexpensive boots. I normally wear a size 12 tennis shoe (Puma or Nike), but size 11 in boots, so make sure you order your boot size. They fit great and look great. They take a little bit of time to break in, but they are quite comfortable. They do have a smell, but it dissipates for the most part after a week or so. They are definitely worth the money if you are looking for a cheap boot that still looks good.

Very nice quality boot
Very nice quality boot, my son received many compliments on them when he wore them, they do have a very strong smell but it wore off in a couple weeks.

great shoes, would buy again
wild boy again. great style. as for the “smell” in the comments. yes these are pure generic synthetic material, not a higher end microfiber. they will “off gas” for a few weeks/ months - store them in an open area not a closet while it disapates. great shoes tho!

Top part does rub my shins (painful), hopefully it will improve with wearing. You may need to ware high socks until they are worn for a while.
