These socks are "just what the Doctor ordered". I am not diabetic but have been looking for product like this for a long time. Most socks have a heavy top band that leaves a noticeable groove in your leg after a day's wear. The tight binding also irritates dry skin in the winter. It takes weeks of wear and several washings before the tight elastic finally relaxes and the socks become comfortable. Not this product, they fit perfectly, and they are very comfortable right out of the package. Would recommend to anyone, diabetic or not.REVISED REVIEW: My previous review is still true, but only for the product "as shipped" and unwashed. I have removed one star because this product changed dramatically in the laundry (cold water, no bleach). The socks I received were a nice dark chocolate brown and the texture resembled a smooth dress sock. What came out of the laundry was a lighter caramel color and significantly shorter than before. They are no longer "dressy" but have transformed into comfortable "old friend" around-the-house socks, and I needed some of those too. I like them as they are, otherwise, I would have removed two stars.

I have large (size 13) feet and thick calves.I used to buy Gold Toe socks but they have changed their design and now their socks are too small.These socks are a good replacement.They are a little bit taller and thinner than GT "cotton fluffies" I used to buy but they fit my feet without binding too much and absorb sweat better than polyester socks.

I am not diabetic. However, I do wear a size 16 shoe and have calves made larger from a lifetime of hiking and weight lifting. These socks were described as diabetic and available in 2XL. Socks without both of those characteristics are too tight and would deeply indent my lower calves, restricting circulation to my feet.These socks did not restrict my circulation.

Men's big and XL is false. To me 9-12 is regular. It's the average size for most men. I was looking for 12-15 or 12-16. I could have store bought 12-15 in whie (look dirty) or black (pick up lint). So, I wanted brown. To me 12-15 is big and tall or XL. These socks aren't even 9-12. In fact they only measure about 7.5 inches heel to toe. Deceptive I think. What say you?

Great comfy socks! My husband has had some trouble with blisters on his feet and now that they've healed we decided to buy him some socks for seamless toes he loves them.! He says they are the perfect weight, they are just the right size and they stay up without sagging. He wears a 12 EE shoe! He has already told me that I should buy him some more and usually he isn't too impressed with any socks so these must really be great!!!

My husband's shoe size is 12. These socks size XL fit just right and did not shrink in wash (cold water wash, low temp dryer). They are soft and very comfortable. Good combination of 80% cotton, 17% polyester, 3% spandex. Stretchy, easy to put on, non-binding but stay up.

These socks will not stay up. Within 5 minutes of wearing them for the first time, my shoes had eaten up my new socks. Very uncomfortable. I ordered them in 4 colors, and they all end up in my shoes.

As a non-diabetic, I can say that these are great socks that are finally roomy enough to not constrict circulation although I had to order a 12-16 non-binding sock to fit my high-instep 10.5. 4E feet! Why is it so difficult to find socks that don't leave marks or constrict?
