Cobra 1962-1965
Note, this is the same book as the MotorBook Classics version, except released earlier and in hardback. Finally, a no frills photo book of the early days. Itโs a mix of 50/50 of never seen pictures to previously seen pictures. Very decent book, a race by race (main races) look at the Cobras and the team and drivers and shop. If this book could be mixed with the Shelbyโs Wildfire sections on the early Cobras, that would be a book of the ages.

Just what I was looking for
I am planning to build a replica Cobra and wanted a book that showed lots of pictures of the original. This book delivers in spades. As a complete plus the commentary by the author is great, lots of little inside details that I never knew.Instead of just looking at the pictures like I planned, I find myself reading the text and enjoying the heck out of it.

He loved to see the history
I bought this for my father, who is waiting on hist 572 kit Cobra build to be finished. He loved to see the history, although he already knew most of it. He really liked the photos.

Essential to the Cobra fan
An anthology of the Cobra Shelby years, by their official photographer. Quality pictures and interesting commentary. One of the cornerstones of a Cobra library.

Good content. Great period photos.
This is a great book to get some background about the man, the myth and the story. It is not terribly in-depth, but it has a good chronology and some wonderful period photographs!
