Plaza Astoria Wall/Door-Mount Jewelry Armoire, Black

Omg, I kid you not when I tell you that I simply love this product! Can't imagine too many of us gals who wouldn't want one of these armoires. If you've amassed a sizeable collection of jewelry over the years and have much of it shoved into boxes and drawers (or just have it strewn all over the place!), displaying your stuff in this cleverly thought-out armoire will finally give order to the chaos (lol!) Go to the trouble of untangling those necklaces so you can hang them...and they will remain tangle-free - hooray! There are 24 hooks for long necklaces, but you can get about 4 on each hook. There are 12 hooks for short necklaces a/o bracelets but, again, you can pack more on the hooks. There are provisions for 50 pair of earrings (100 slots), but with many types of earrings (wire hook and some post), you can totally fit the pair into one slot, instead of taking up 2 slots! It's very easy to hang your earrings: through the hole, sitting in the slot, even a combo of using the hole and the upper rim...anyway, it's all good...!Above the interior mirror (which is a great size, and quite handy!), you have 52 ring slots and 12 wider slots where you can put in things like thin bangles. This area is foamy, so one could conceivably push in the sharp part of, say, a brooch. You have 12 bins, and in those areas, I've put my watches, some pendants, and some larger hoop earrings I couldn't figure out how to put in the earring slots (without them jutting out...)What else can I say? I really, really love seeing my jewelry in order! The quality of this item is very nice - the cherry wood looks good, and matches my other wood very well. I chose to hang it on my door (although you are provided with the option of wall-mounting it). The thin, black, metal door brackets they provide are extremely simple to screw to the back of the case. I hung this on a white door, and didn't like how the black brackets looked in contrast, so I spray-painted the brackets white (million times better!) The exterior full-length mirror is very nice, not warped at all. Also, I want to mention that I put some velcro between the back of the case and the door, as this door is open and shut often.Showed my lovely teenaged nieces this armoire a short while ago - well, it sure does take a lot to impress a teen these days, but, I tell you, they flipped for this thing...FLIPPED! I will be more than pleased to buy this really wonderful item for each of their upcoming birthday ;-)

This is a review of the Plaza Astoria Wall/Door-Mount Jewelry Armoire (White)I actually already purchased a black one awhile back for my wife and not only did my wife love it, my daughter did. While my daughter is only 8 years old, she has already acquired quite the mass of jewelry.This came nicely packaged and had no damage to it when it arrived.You can set this up very easily one of two ways. You can either use included metal hanging brackets to hand this on the back of a door which I did or you can use included hardware to screw this directly to the wall. A little more invasive, however, this is how I mounted my wife’s and it only took around 10 minutes by myself.For the price range, the quality is very nice. It is sturdy and looks modern.What I like about this the particular item is how it has so many different ways to store your jewelry as well as the quantity it can easily store.It certainly is a great way to empty out your piles of jewelry laying around and avoid tangles, missing pieces, etc.I have included pictures of the unit and how it fits behind a door.The mirror on the outside is also great as it goes hand in hand with putting on the jewelry inside.There is a magnet inside to hold the door closed. So when you open and close your door this on, you do not have to worry about the door coming open. (The items are also firmly secured inside and do not move based on the design of the interior.)Note – If you do not want to mount on the wall or on a door, search around as they make these with a floor stand as well so you can put wherever you want.Summary – My wife has told me numerous times how much she loved this and my daughter has told me she wanted one since I got my wife hers. Great gift idea and I am very happy with the price and quality of this product.

I don't know where to start on how awesome this is. I got this delivered to my door the VERY NEXT DAY after I ordered it (under plain ole standard shipping) so i was elated about that. Its heavy and in big packaging so be prepared to get help carrying it. So i laid it aside and went to do other things, came back 30 minutes later my 16 year old had it assembled and hung on my door for me. very very easy to assemble. no tools needed. i was worried about it swinging back and forth on the door as I opened and closed the door. Nope no problems. sturdy and doesn't move at all. It is sleek and so useful and functional. The fact it hangs up out of the way helps keep my room from looking full of bulky pieces. Very great! The full length mirror is such a great asset to my room. After having only a half mirror and then being able to switch to a full length you wonder how you ever were able to get dressed without seeing everything down to the shoes! The armoire inside is nice and functional. I used to have all my jewelry stacked up in several jewelry boxes so when i went to look for something I had to pull everything out and alot of times because i cant see everything on a regular basis I forget what I have and waste money buying similar stuff. With this, with one movement of just opening it up i can see everything I own all at once. Just perfect. Added mirror inside, just genius! The only thing I would change is I personally don't own alot of rings (about 8) so all that ring space (at least 50 slots, a fourth of the functional space) is empty where as my earrings necklaces and bracelets are running over. I wish there was a way to convert that unused space into space to hang other things if needed. But all in all a must have! I took detailed pictures of it and showed it off at work and now several people at my work have bought it too!

I received the armoire and was surprised how well it was packaged.We hung it on the wall instead of over the door but had to shim the bottom because it was warped and stuck out from the wall a most an inch and a half. This causes a problem because often it won't latch unless I specifically push on the magnet. We may put a latch to keep it closed.I was under the impression it was wood but it's a wrap material and because there isn't a handle you have to graphics the frame, put your fingers between to release the magnet and my nails have caught the wrap and tore it already. I have bought a glass knob and adding that to the frame to use to pull it or close it.There is a smell if I do keep it shut but because it swings open often (due to the warp) it's not always noticeable. A spray of perfume on the velvet has helped :)I love the hooks etc but if you wear hoop earrings and many necklaces space to hang them is a problem. I have to use the trays for my hoops and therefore keep my bangle bracelets elsewhere.And the directions for installing on the wall is for 65-68 inches ( I believe that's the measuremrnt) but if I had to do it again I would move it up on the wall. I am 5'6" and have to bend to use the inside mirror to put my earrings on. Is it a big deal when the full length mirror is right there? Not really but the door not latching often means it swings open mid way during the process of putting my earrings on. Grrrrr.

It was very easy to install with the template and a level. The only problem is the top screw holes in the cabinet should have been slotted to add extra security to the wall instead of a round hole

This product was easy to install and we like the size.

Looks just like advertised. Holds plenty of jewelry, easy to hang on wall.
