Biltwell Gringo S Helmet (Large/DOT/ECE) (Gloss Vintage White)

The helmet is great, the visor it comes with is garbage. Instantly fogged/delaminated on the visor that doesn’t come off. Incredibly dangerous.EDIT* emailed Biltwell and they sent me a visor that doesn’t have the same issue. Annoying that you have to do that but great company to send new visor free of charge

Shield has a defect just like the rest of the reviews . It had mentioned that issue with shield defects . Does anyone know how to get the shield replaced ? Update Bitwell has replaced the defective shield good thing!

The helmet itself is wonderful. It fits exactly as described, it's comfortable, and it feels like high quality. Here's the bad: The face shield is delaminated, just like every other review says. Hoping Biltwell reaches out for a replacement shield.

I really like the look of this helmet. It is a safe choice to buy the S model because of the ease of flipping up your visor so you can breathe. This is a fog machine. Youl have to buy some anti fogger and definitely use rainx or something for the front. The visor was really sticky and had a strange crystallized substance inside of it that I had to use dishsoap to scrub it off. Ruined the finish off the bat. So many scratches now ill have to replace it soon. Its been like a week. Make sure you use the softest cloth available when cleaning. Buy a spare visor you'll need it.
