Morbier Cheese (8 ounce)

Really fantastic cheese.

I expected a little more in the way of flavor.

I bought this because I liked the "American version" called Mobay and haven't been able to find it. This was nothing like Mobay, although I suspect it arrived spoiled. I gagged when I took my first bite and tossed the rest.

This is my favorite cheese. Not everyne will lke it. Glad it's available bbecause it's not easy to get.

Like another reviewer, this is my favorite cheese, and I was so happy to see that it was available again. Frankly, I was amazed when I saw it in the cheese deli as for many years, the government wouldn't let it be imported due to the contents of the curious ribbon layer in the middle which is necessary to achieve its textured unique taste. But it is not for everyone, and as another reviewer, said, it is very different from Mobay which is an American version. I can understand why that reviewer ended up throwing it out. You need to be into strong and layered flavors to understand and like this cheese. So glad to be able to get it after decades without it being available in the US.
