24V 8A Lead Acid Battery Charger with 3-Pin XLR Connector for Jazzy 1450, invacare tdx 3, Invacare Pronto M51, Sunrise Medical, Quickie, Drive Medical Power Supply

I bought this for my friend's Jazzy powered wheelchair . It worked well and most importantly at the time, arrived very quickly. The only thing she didn't like about it was that it had a rather loud fan. The manufacturer's power supply either had a very quiet fan or none at all.

Works great but is very loud. I can't hear tv while charging. I can't charge at night because it disrupts my budgies I wish they could fix that.

It does what it needs to do and it's small enough to take with you in a backpack in case you need it on the go. Plus it's pretty powerful for the size

But then it died. I think it just got overheated too often charging my battery box that had three times more capacity than this charger was meant to handle. So I got the metal case version thinking it might be more durable since it had better heatsinking. So far so good. It works just as well as my old one and doesn't get as warm and the vents are bigger allowing for better airflow. It also has brighter LEDs so I can tell from a distance whether or not the battery has finished charging. Another plus is that it uses a removable power cord, allowing me to use a shorter one so when I bring it with me there is less cabling to lug around with it.

It works good, the fan is a little noisy, but, not bothersome.

Cords too short. Fan a little noisy, but I understand that small size and low price necessitates mechanical heat dissipation.

The product is not operational in Thailand and is not for jel type batteries. I purchased in haste due to urgent need, I failed to check specifications for the region regarding the return, (the product will not clear customs ) and electronic specifications as the product must also be of certain voltage to operate safely in Thailand. The wheelchair for which it was purchased does not have acid type batteries for which it was made.
