Cuts down a lot of excess wind/cold
Fits shoe well; I wear a 39 1/2 (European sizing). Seems to have stretched out a tiny bit, but not so much that it's making my rides difficult. Blocks a lot of the cold (I've ridden in weather as cold as 45 degrees), which is great because my toes get cold!

A Good Return For The Investment
I bought these as a back up to a pair that I purchased about 3 years ago, but have not tried them yet. What I can say is they are a little thinner than my first pair but otherwise seem to be constructed of the same material. They fit very nicely around the toe and cleat of my Sidi shoes. I have used the Pearl Izumi Toe warmers for colder weather rides of almost 2 hours in temps down to 36F with a pair of impermeable foam shoe insoles, medium weight wool socks, and the Pearl Izumi toe warmers, practically identical to the Amfibs with light fleece lining, and my feet and toes remained comfortably warm. I have Gore-Tex insulated booties but in temps 35F and above I have not needed to used them. Add the waterproof benefit of the Amfib and you have an excellent lightweight addition to your riding clothes arsenal.

Depends on your temp threshold...
First let me set the stage... I am sorta person who wears shorts even when the temperature is in mid-to-late 60s.My morning ride temp threshold is 30.My toes were cold while wearing very decent quality Woolie socks. So these works depending on your temp threshold. I expect these to work fine when the temp is above 40 for me...

Numb toes were not a problem on this day
These toe covers performed great in 30 F temperature. I was a bit concerned about the sizing but they fit my size 13 US 47 EU shoe very nicely. I certainly wasn't concerned with them falling off like some of the cheaper illfitting toe covers. Excellent addition to my winter gear.

Size
L/XL are to small for a size 10 shoe.

Good Fit
You can't go wrong with Pearl Izumi. I wore it at the Barry Roubaix race in Michigan. It was below 30 degrees and never felt the cold. Good enough for me!

They work!
Better quality than the lower price point neoprene - but will probably only last a season of mountain biking…

These wont fit over your shoes.
I ordered these in an L/XL and I can't get them onto my size 10 road shoes (Bontrager or Sidi). I use LOOK cleats so they are a bit larger, like Shimano, but they don't physically get over the toe and cleat without great effort. They have zero give or elasticity like a neoprene cover. Really disappointing product. Not sure why it's even a product or who tested them at PZummi.
