This is 3/8 inch premium double braided yacht braid polyester in red with white tracers. Choose from 50 feet, 100 feet, 150 feet or 300 feet. Made in the USA. This is an excellent line for halyards, rigging line, control line, etc. This line does not come spliced. About 3,600 pounds tensile strength. Made in the USA.

Hollow; under stress will crush.
Looks good but crushes through chives, capstans and cleats. I wouldn't use it on a boat. Knots are hard to untie and the inter-braid is hollow which allows it to crush. Samson or New England Yacht Braid doesn't crush.....except you wallet. This is a good bargain Dbl. braid rope.

the center of this rope is some kind of foam and all the load will go to the outer layer. I would not use this for anything serious other than tying down a canoe or maybe a swing.

Great, strong rope!
This rope is great. I use it to haul logs up ravines using pulleys. It is very strong and I would not hesitate to use it for climbing or rescue work.
