If you're looking for a nice compact/lightweight every day pocket carry knife, this probably isn't it, unless you're like me and have a weird thing for carrying big, beefy, heavy folders.That said, I knew exactly what I was expecting and got exactly that and more. This is a great knife, and an EXCELLENT knife for the money. I use my carry blades pretty regularly, so I don't usually buy very expensive stuff, which is why I appreciate being able to get expensive-feeling quality for a good price.Solid lockup, no wiggle, nice and sharp, good-kind-of-heavy with a thick blade, feels nice in the hand, and a cool design... Not sure if the ridges are supposed to serve any purpose but they are sweet looking. Assisted opening is strong and smooth. Fit and finish are decent; doesn't line up like a $100+ Benchmade...because it's not one.5/5 if you know what you're buying.

Awesome service,great people,great knife.First knife came in about few day after i ordered it but it has some problems,the blade was wobble around and i gave a call to the sportsman people and they send me next day another free knife and told me not even worry about to send the other one back.What a decent people they are.Service is great,people are very polite .Ok now about knife.People complaining that it is too heavy.Well get yourself chop stick it is light because this knife is straight for man,only! For me its just fine and for people with a week hands ,you should consider that as a challenge for yourself to strength your hands.This knife is verily a killing machine.Some people said that 420 steel is pretty weak but i didn't notice that with this particular knife.Just think about 300gramm of steel for less than 20$.You can't beat that.The knife cuts everything.I went to the park with my daddy and i threw the knife a few times and it came to the wood all the way because of the weight of the knife.Very durable knife.Beautiful design.Some people complaining that it's not a working saw.,lol.For that purpose why don't you buy a saw separate then?My personal opinion is that this knife is awesome.I know there are better knifes for a 200-300$ but for this amount to get knife with this quality is plain gift for you.Overall i give 5 stars.

I misplaced my cold steel Recon 1 so I got this as a replacement. This is a very solid knife with the best assisted opening I have encountered yet. That said it is about the same size as my Recon 1 but it is a lot heavier. 10.3 oz for this knife vs 5.1 for the similarly sized Recon 1. I love this knife it has a great feel but it is too heavy to carry in many situations. I really do wish it had been significantly lighter. They tell you it is 10 oz up front but if you have no basis for comparison you will not realize what a hefty chunk that really is,

The knife is a replacement for one I thought I lost.It has a good weight to it.You can open it with ease.It's of great quality,duribility, and i highly recommend anyone that is looking for a knife.I had a couple weeks of trial with this. And my two issues are:1. The clip should be up side down. Which is my seagway into my second complaint..2. The blade opened up twice already on my hip!! .I'm thinking I'll switch the clip upside down . But I shouldn't HAVE to alter it.

Great big tough knife , with a better than expected liner locker, heavy duty and heavy . I would buy again for sure and came very sharp , love the assisted opening ,very strong , opens with authority! And a pleasant design , I am surprised that it's not a lifetime warranty as it would take a lot to break one , you can't go wrong if you like big, heavy , tank like knives that are sharp and will last forever.

This is by far the favorite of the 8 or 9 pocket knives i have in circulation at the moment. The weight helps me and I'm hoping that translates into stronger thicker long lasting blade. Will update in a month. So it might be longer than a month since I wrote my review but this is now my favorite knife. I just ordered another one because for some reason when I like something it gets discontinued before I can replace it. I have a klein knife, a milwaukee knife, some titanium knives,some carbon fiber knives and this one is my every day carry. I feel weird when I forget it. Buy this knife if your a knife lover. Of it is to heavy for you to carry around its still a nice conversation starter.

This is a high quality and great looking knife. The knife was sharp right out of the box. The weight is quite heavy so it may be a bit too much for some pockets but it makes the knife feel durable. The knife broke in quite well and opening is very smooth after opening and closing it a few times. The liner lock was okay but looked a little thin, especially compared to some other similar folding knives that I have. I am happy with this purchase as it is a well-made folding knife with unique good looks. I would have expected it to cost much more than what I paid for it, especially if it was a more well-known brand.

This knife is a little heavy but seems very strong. If you're looking for a manly spring assisted pocket knife this one works perfect. It has the reverse clip to make it quicker to pull out and flip open. I'm happy with this knife. First time using a sportsman brand, I usually have CRKT knives. Sharp and sturdy can't go wrong here. If you plan to sharpen this knife after using be sure to use a nice sharpening kit for a perfect edge. So far it's never opened in my pocket, some knives tend to do this.
