Local Hive, Raw Honey, Pure and Unfiltered, Local Utah Beekeepers, 40oz

I have learned a lot about raw honey over the past two years, so I think my review can be trusted. I usually purchase the North Eastern honey to get pollens from my area. It was not available recently, so I bought the Utah, and it did not disappoint at all. The flavor was great just like the NE, but the Utah honey was thicker and the flavor more concentrated. I can't say for sure if Utah honey is normally thicker than the NE, but I will be thrilled if it is because a much smaller amount sweetens everything perfectly, and more bang for my buck is always appreciated. Regardless, Local honey is excellent!

Every morning since 2014 I have had a cup of hot water with lemon juice and raw honey first thing in the morning and other than Covid, haven't had the cold or flu since. Being able to subscribe to raw honey is wonderful - I know it will always be on hand for both my morning lemon water and tea I drink during the day. I tried several brands of honey but this Local Hive Wildflower is definitely my favorite. It has wonderful flavor! I have had issues with the lids getting broken in transit (usually one side cracks), but since there is a seal under it, I've only had one issue when it has leaked which amazon promptly replaced. Since Amazon ships them, I fault them for it and not Local Hive.

Outstanding flavor but a warning. If not used quickly, the honey crystallizes...normal for honey. With the narrow bottleneck you cannot extract the solid honey and it wouldn't be a good idea to heat the plastic bottle to liquify the honey without jeopardizing your health!!! I suggest if you buy it, transfer it to a glass jar ASAP. I would rather pay a little more and get glass.

This raw honey is delicious and does not cause the heartburn I get from “processed” honey. What more can I say?

I read how healthy honey is for your body. I use it for my coffee and tea couldn’t believe how much better it taste then sugar. it’s also a good sleep aid take 1 tablespoon before bed and sleep like a baby.
