PANCE PREP PEARLS V3 - PART B

This version definitely does a better job with pharmacology with the chapters and putting different diseases within sections that makes them easier to find, I would say more appropriately placed i.e. the congential heart defects are under cardio. The versions also do a better job with pediatrics as well. I was sad to see the pharmacology section go, however. It was nice to have that section for a detailed review. I also was really sad to see a lot of the intro physiology gone. I really liked that about the 2nd version. It is also annoying to have two books. Put it back into one and just charge more. I hate carrying around two.

I bought this to help understand the most important parts of each disease I'm tested on in my clinical medicine class, and it has been very helpful.I just found an error that I wanted to bring to the author's attention. On page 490 of part B in the GU system section under pyelonephritis, it says "infection of the upper respiratory tract" instead of urinary tract.TL;DR Great tool, very helpful!

Current first year PA student and these books have been a life saver. You've got to get both book A & B. They're both fabulous and straight to the point stuff you need to know. Some of my other books and school are SO wordy that it makes it hard to find the key points and stuff you need to know.

Essential book for review purposes!
