Reasonable taste.
Not quite as expected, difficult to crisp up, taste was a little bland.

a great fake away if coeliac
This mix was a little spicy & not quite a kfc recipe, mixed with another & it was almost perfect.

Easy to use and nice alternative to add to the recipe list
I like this stuff - it's moderate carb and you have to be mindful of how much is being used but too little and you'll not get the benefit and too much and too many carbs. it's also easy to waste too much when trying to judge how much to use. It's not going to KFC your chicken in terms of taste but it's a nice texture and the taste is as good as some supermarket sothern fried coatings.. I think it's important to get enough egg and oil on the coating before roasting. I've made it by egg due to forgetting and it wasn't terrible (on skin on thighs). Taste better when shallow/deep fried. I also mix in some other spices to make it more varied. I'll keep using this.

Great, easy to use, but could be more spicy!
This was purchased to be used for myself, husband and son as we follow a low carb, calorie controlled diet. I used it to coat home made chicken goujons which we shallow fried in olive oil then drained on kitchen paper before popping in the oven for 15 minutes. The crumb stayed on the chicken, unlike some of our previous experiments with low carb coatings (namely ground almonds) but didn't crisp up, but I suspect that was due to the cooking method. Fried and deep fried foods tend to be crispier. We enjoyed the chicken but all felt it could definitely handle a little more spice! Next time I use it I will probably add a little cayenne before frying and cook it all in the frying pan rather than oven baking. Looking forward to tyring more Lo Dough products.

it does coat but
bland may be improved if you add your own spices as well and oven use!

Not really very flavourful
Not really taste of very much. Add garlic and onion powder, might improve flavour.
