English Tea Store Honey Sticks, Caramel, 100 Count

Great method for honey servings.
I love these little sticks. They are basically like drinking straws filled with honey, then heat-sealed on each end. I usually cut one one and squeeze the the honey out like toothpaste. But my kids like to just bite a sealed end (if you put pressure on the seal in the opposite direction, it will break) and just suck the honey out!I love that they are single serve and I don't have some messy sticky bottle of stuff lying around. And if someone asks if I have honey for tea, I can offer a few different flavors of this right on the table.Incidentally, commercially produced honey doesn't really go bad... even over years. Depending on storage it may change color or taste to where you don't like it, but it won't hurt you. It may crystallize, but can be resoftened with moist heat, even a microwave..(I have never had that happen with these sticks).Clover and orange blossom are classic table honeys. They are pretty mild (compared to something like a buckwheat honey) and are good in cooking, sweetening drinks, etc. I am not sure what the caramel, cinnamon and other flavors are. (like there are no caramel flowers that the bees are pollinating!! ha ha!! it would be awesome to have a caramel tree though!! :D) I suppose they are light honeys that are then flavored so I just stuck with the "plain" kinds.EDIT: I just came to this page to buy more of these. I switched from artificial sweetener in my tea to just these. I drink at least 3 cups of tea everyday at work and started thinking about chemicals I was having. While one of these isn't as sweet as I was used to, I got used to them quickly. I didn't see any nutrition info for these, but looked at other similar sticks and it seems that they have approximately 1 tsp of honey (about 6gr.) each. That would be about 15 calories (about 4g of carbs/sugars, 0 protein, 0 fat 0 sodium 0 cholesterol.)

None busted, just not my favorite taste
I wasn't a fan of this type of cinnamon. Just a little too strong for my tastes. HOWEVER, the honey sticks arrived completely in tact, and were clearly packaged well. I gave them to a friend so they wouldn't go to waste and she has already ordered some more for herself. Not my cup of tea (haha) but definitely worth the money.

Good quality
I travel often and usually like to have tea in the mornings. I also prefer orange blossom honey as a sweetener but find it bothersome and messy to carry around a bottle of honey with me. These prefilled sticks are ideal for travel, and are every bit as good as other honey I use. They are a little pricey though, or I would rate them 5 stars.

Mint honey sticks.
I ordered these hoping that it would taste just as good as the mint honey sticks I bought at a Farmer's market in Temple City, but sadly to say, they are no where good as those. The honey sticks are good, but they sort of taste like toothpaste, but they're still edible. The ones I tried at the farmer's market had the natural mint taste you get from real spearmint, but these sort of taste like they have fluoride in them. But I'm sure they taste better in tea. I just like eating them raw.

Good product
Overall this is a pretty good product. The honey taste is fine and the pricing I see reasonable. My only complaint is that the tubes are not always easy to open. Sometimes you can bite down and the pinched end opens, other times it takes an act of godly teeth gnawing on the end (or scissors). Overall it's good. It's nice to have a stirring straw with the sweetener in it. I poor the honey in and suck the drink through the straw. The first few sips are amazingly sweet and tasty with the residual honey coming out of the straw. It would be nice if there were bigger tube options too.

Yum!
I love theses honey sticks. They are great for work and so much less of a mess for my desk. You simply cut one end and place the cut end in your hot tea and the honey slowly slips down the straw an into my tea. I also like that it doubles as a stir stick!I also have a friend who is diabetic and gave her some for her purse just in case her blood sugar gets too low. She can easily bite off an end and suck down the honey for instant relief. Lots cheaper than glucose tabs and tastes better too!

Bad batch????
Flavor was ok. But every straw was filled with hard, crunchy bits. Not enjoyable. Not worth the cost to return. Just throw away

Subtle flavor
There isn't a very strong amaretto flavor. My daughter said it's like cough syrup. I really like it in hot English tea.
