Great clock and it is as described. It is lightweight, sturdy and silent which were the three most important requirements that I was looking for.

This is an unbranded Chinese alarm clock, that is not a slur this is very well made. Better than clocks I have owned made by Casio, Jones, and Actim.It is a nice size with clockface 7.9cm tall+wide. The white model has a nice zen look to it, hopefullly the plastic will not discolour in time it is fine so far. It takes the standard AA battery. They recommend using the low power Zinc batteries to prolong product lifespan.Although when setting the alarm it can be slightly hard to to read exactly where the alarm needle is on the longer diagonals, the actual mechanism is the most accurate/reliable analogue alarm I have owned. The alarm volume is just about right, not ridiculously loud but will wake anyone up. It starts with a standard beep-beep and quite quickly becomes like a machine gun so not really one you can ignore, gets me out of bed every time.The continous second hand is almost silent I can't hear it from my bed, but I have it a few metres away. If it was right near your head you might pick up a very slight grinding sound in the dead of the night.The snooze button seems to jam slightly sometimes meaning the light stays on and not sure if the snooze would malfunction but I do not use the snooze feature personally. If so you can very easily flick it up with your finger though to unstick it. It's amazing how something as simple as having a good alarm clock can set your whole day up nicely.

This is a simple, light alarm clock that does everything it should - read the time and ring a pre-set alarm. The design could be slightly improved by making it easier to switch the alarm off in the morning - the large button on top only snoozes the alarm and one needs to deactive the alarm function on the back of the device to turn it off. This is a bit annoying as it means one always needs to re-activate the alarm the night before.The clock is generally silent, but my model developed a slightly audible spinning sound after a few days that comes and goes after handling the device. Not a dealbreaker, but those with sensitive hearing might be put off by this.

Really neat Alarm clock. It's a sensible size, the face is clear and easy to read and it's a nice simple design.The on/off button at the back is a bit fiddly but I like the fact that the snooze/light button is on the top and easy to reach. It is whisper quiet, not a sound.Bought to replace a Digital clock radio which was just too complicated to program, this is a doddle and I'm quite happy to be back to manual setting.Really pleased with it.

I got this alarm clock to replace my old and broken one that has a weak alarm. This one is much better as the alarm in loud enough to help wake you up but not extremely loud to make you jump out of your bed whilst asleep. It's compact small size and need for only 1 AA battery makes it easy to carry when travelling and simple to use. This clock also has some glowing green light on it's hands following you to use the time when in pitch darkness. It also has a small snooze light that you turn on by gently using down on the top bar above it and it turns off when you let go. This clock never fails to help wake me up in the morning anytime I need it and it still does to this day. Amazing alarm clock well worth buying.

Update : I bought this in Oct 2020. In late June 2021, it started making an irritating clicking/whirring noise which is very noticeable at night on the bedside table. Given the fact that its main selling point is silence and that is why I purchased it, I now find I cannot use it. It literally keeps me awake. I originally gave this 4 stars but now have to give it one (zero is not possible). If you are purchasing, keep in mind that a fault may appear after 6 or 7 months making it unusable. I notice on Amazon's website that a return is not possible since Feb 2021 (just under 5 months after purchase). I am attempting to contact Amazon to see if I can get a refund after such a short time. Otherwise, I have to write this product off as a waste of money. Avoid!This came very quickly just under a month ago and seems so far to be keeping accurate time. I bought the carbon zinc batteries that the manufacturer recommends and which are recommended by another reviewer (the Panasonic ones - see the Amazon link for this by another reviewer). I don't know if these batteries help to keep the time accurate, I've never heard of them before but they work fine. The light to show the time is a good idea but I've given the clock 4 stars for two reasons: a) because I felt that the light could shine more on the time/clock face itself. As it is, it shines into your face a little. This is only a small minus point and would probably not stop me buying the clock again. Reason b) there sometimes seems to be a small click noise when the minute hand crosses where the alarm hand is when the alarm is not set which can be a bit irritating. This doesn't always seem noticeable and again is a very small minus part. Generally a good product with those two provisos.

It’s nice and compact, easy to set the time. Sadly it does tick very loudly despite claiming to be “silent” so that is frustrating.
