After playing it reminded me of a game that looked like it originated from this game. Conker's Bad Fur Day. I played through the game and I finally seen how long it is. It's super long. It can also be challenging at times. This game is playable in co-op if you find this robot named Floyd and search for his missing components (and they are nearby.) The multiplayer is fun and has many unlockables. My few problems were that when you delete the previous game file(s), it won't delete the unlockable characters. Aming can also be hard at times. The game may occur with slow downs sometimes, but it rarely bothers me that much. I say the multiplayer, unlockables and easter eggs, are the best about the game. There is much to do. In multiplayer there aren't any bots, but if you wanna get together with friends and play; the modes are really fun. The game is similar to Conker's Bad Fur Day modes you'd find there, but this game came first. There is racing, third-person shooting, and target practice all up to four players. You can unlock a lot more levels, and characters for the game even though most of my characters were already unlocked. Anyway, I like to say this game can be really fun and boring at times. If you have time to spend with the single-player throughout your days and you love long games, or just like unlockable features, buy this game. It is a nice adventure. Also it makes a great add-on to a Rare/Rarware collection if you are a fan.

Such an underrated game.
The mystique and the wonder of this game are simply amazing. It was like reliving my childhood, some of the best nostalgia I have ever had. Not many people talk about Jet Force Gemini - Rare's underrated classic, but it deserves your love too. It may be flawed and have framerate issues at times as it pushed the console to it's absolute limit, but this was the case for many great n64 games. It's storyline is so engaging and has so much heart, such a sense of urgency, and you form emotional bonds with the Jet Force Team, and the cute little Tribals(teddy bear aliens) you are there to save. I played this once in my childhood and never really picked it up again, but I wish I had bought it sooner. My copy worked great, so fear not in buying from M Books Plus

Fun, but could've used some work
Aside from the horrible controls that often leave you dead, the somewhat poor animation, the occasional feeling of never being able to finish a level, this game is great. Filled with fun weapons, enemies, characters, and bug goo, I absolutely loved this game when I was younger. Upon playing it now nearly ten years later, I'm better aware of its flaws, but still enjoy it immensely; this game is one of an above-average level. Probably one of my favorite aspects of this game are some of the great and expansive landscapes; everyone knows most N 64 games just had some background pasted onto walls, but this game doesn't do that (much).I took one star off from those infuriating controls.

Ahhh the memories of losing to my dad in this game
At first it didn’t work blew in it (brought back some good memories) and it started working 👍🏻 Sadly my dad hasn’t beaten the game for me already so I can’t play certain areas in multiplayer lmao

Just Like I remember
Bought this game years ago and played it, but being younger i got stuck in certain areas and eventually put this game down. I sold it and then years later through amazon bought this game back. The mechanics are good for it's time. The graphics are good and I suggest you get an S-Video cable if you have an HDTV. The storyline was interesting, saving the little tribals from giant insects. Difficulty is stil,l up there so take your time with it and enjoy.

Back when Rareware used to be well Rareware, they brought us this gem to the N64. I have to say the controls are kind of stiff when compared to newer shooters, but the game doesn't just bombard you with enemies at the very start and multiplayer is really enjoyable with several playable characters.

MOST UNDERRATED TITLE
One of the truely underrated titles on n64. Three main characters you can play as, you can play through the other levels as the different characters, and generally just one of the most fun games that they made on the N64

forgotten gem or underrated jewell
Good game a bit convoluted hard to jump back in once you've played it and forgot where you last left off. But an underrated game that don't get enough attention from the gaming community. Unconventional controls prevent comfortable gameplay but if your an completionist then you will be thrilled as this game appeals to those who enjoy games that require back and forth travelling and patiance

third person shoot em up action adventure
The game hasn't aged too well when compared to more modern third-person shooters. Some similarities to the GoldenEye aiming mechanics, which can take some time to adjust to. The game looks great, and the music in some of the later levels really sets the mood. A rarely heard of gem from the golden days of 'Rareware'.

A tough game.
Haven't got very far with the game yet, seems quite tough, not quite the game I was expecting, relies too much on reflexes.

Perfect platform for hard-to-find items. Delivery was prompt.
Like the Chicago Bulls of the early 1990s or the San Francisco 49ers of the 1980s, some teams just keep finding ways to win time and time again. It's no different for video-game developers, especially if the developer's name is Rareware Its latest endeavor, the 3D space adventure Jet Force Gemini, has such a wide variety of awesome gameplay that it could be broken up into four separate games - and still get strong reviews. That said, Jet Force Gemini easily joins Rareware's already impressive stable of hits, which includes GoldenEye 007 and Banjo-Kazooie.
At first glance, Jet Force Gemini seems like a chemical compound that incorporates the best elements from several successful franchises: Take Turok's enemies, add in Banjo-Kazooie's gameplay, include GoldenEye's sniping action, then throw in a Star Wars-like theme complete with sidekick droids and furry Ewok-like creatures known as Tribals - and mix. The game's basic goal is to search for and rescue the Tribals, who've been attacked and enslaved by alien insects. To do this, you assume the role of three main characters (unlocked eventually as the game progresses): the fraternal twins Juno and Vela, plus their canine mascot, Lupus. Once they are unlocked, you can play any of those characters' unique, moderately sized quests in whatever order you please. There's also a wealth of multiplayer modes (more on that later).
Since finding Tribals is the name of the game, its multipart levels offer plenty of exploration. However, it's possible to go an entire level without finding a single one, since many levels have branching paths and optional locations to visit. You may also find multiple exits in a level that lead to optional secret levels. The game's free-flowing nature gives virtually no hints, so you must figure things out on your own (a prospect that may frustrate novices; it's easy to get \"stuck\" in a few levels). Many of the levels offer simple puzzles that you can solve to save Tribals, such as one in which you move color-coded platforms to get across a room. However, most of the fun is reserved for killing baddies.
In terms of AI, enemies have basic common sense: They can run for cover, dodge, weave, and they have weak points and defenses. Some enemies use different attacks, depending on whether they've spotted you or not. Others are mindless drones who use sheer numbers to overwhelm. This AI lets you develop your own playing style in response, which is highly rewarding for a game of this nature. You might prefer to snipe from afar and use available cover (such as boxes and walls) to avoid return fire. Or you might just want to pull a Rambo and go in guns a-blazin'. Each strategy has its drawbacks (losing time vs. losing life). You can also play from a third-person perspective, which is harder but necessary for jumping. You can always revert to first-person view on the fly, which makes targeting enemies much easier.
The game's control scheme actually flip-flops between two views, depending on how the game's being played. In the default third-person view, the player uses the analog joystick to move around, the C buttons to strafe, jump and crawl, and the A, B and Z buttons to select weapons and fire. In this view, it's rather difficult to shoot enemies (especially at close range), which may prove frustrating to some gamers. To help alleviate this problem, the game uses the R button to switch to a first-person view more akin to Turok's. The C buttons become movement buttons, while the joystick becomes the crosshair target. Mastering this mode becomes essential, since you must aim directly at certain weak points to kill tougher enemies and bosses. This flip-flop in control can get confusing - and the confusion is only compounded by the lack of a jump button in first-person view. Those who've played Turok-type games may prefer to play most of the game in first-person view, which is OK except for the chore of keeping the R button down throughout the entire game. Overall, the control remains responsive at all times - but the awkwardness in using two very different control styles in the same game might prove distasteful to some.
