In serious downpours water can bead up on bare legs and calves and egress into the socks through the top. So we invented Hydrostop™, a silicone-like (although it is silicone-free) elastic taping around the inside cuff of the sock. This added protection reduces the chances of water dripping down your leg into your sock. For over 25 years Sealskinz has been innovating and perfecting waterproof socks, waterproof gloves and waterproof hats in King’s Lynn. Our outdoor accessories are thoughtfully designed, made using premium materials and are carefully crafted to keep you dry and warm. All of our products are backed by our Lifetime Waterproof Guarantee. When we say waterproof, we mean waterproof.

Nice and water proof
Prefer the ankle socks to the full length socks which tended to grip my calf to much.

Waterproof and warm but fit could be better
Bought as I was fed up getting soaking wet squelchy socks and feet on soggy trail runs. Tried out in an 8 miler through wet grass, mud and boggy moors. My feet were dry and no squelching. Considering these are the all weather version my feet were very warm in a wet and foggy 3 degrees. They fit quite loose and I did find there was a little too much material around the toes. I’m prone to blisters but had no trouble with these. My husband wore his and he did get a nasty one on his toe as the excess material did really bother him. Worth trying for sure but they need a larger range of sizes for a secure fit.

They work. Feet stay dry
Used for rambling , boots let in water eventually so these keep me dry and comfortable even when my boots are water logged.

Well worth the cost
Totally deliver on promises. Went on a 5 hour ride in a mix of cold and moderately warm weather. Lots of mud and puddles. Feet comfortable and dry throughout.

Nice and comfortable in poor weather
This is my first pair of waterproof socks I bought them for mountain biking in the winter. The problem was that we were often biking in freezing conditions on trails. This means that all the puddles have a layer of ice on them. As you go down into the puddle and break the ice a jet of ice cold water comes up and sprays your shoes. Your feet can get very cold even with thick woolen socks on. I'm not saying that my feet are very warm in these socks in these conditions, but they are a hell of a lot warmer than using my woolen socks. These socks are quite reasonably priced and do most of the job.

Worth every penny
Google "Creamfields festival 2023 mud" before reading this review. These socks kept my feet BONE dry through quite possibly the most diabolical conditions I've ever experienced in my 24 years as a human being. Pretty comfortable and also didnt smell like cottage cheese when I took them off after aggressively two-stepping in them all day and night. 10/10 would recommend.
