Product description Premium Occlusion Training Bands Our occlusion training bands are made from high quality strong woven elastic. They are 5.5cm wide with a durable metal slider and a strong Velcro fastening mechanism. The two sizes (Medium for arms and Large for legs) are specifically designed for an accurate fit without leaving lots of excess band hanging and getting in the way. Our team of sport science experts have tested numerous occlusion band and cuff designs and have found the metal slider and Velcro by far the easiest to apply, adjust and remove with one arm when training your upper limbs. Detailed training methodologies and sample training programmes can be found in our occlusion training Ebook, which comes with every purchase. Occlusion Training – Quick Guide Slide your occlusion band over your arm or leg to the top of the limb, pull tight and secure with the Velcro strap. We recommend approximately a 7/10 pressure – they should not be uncomfortable at rest. When muscle growth is the goal we recommend applying the occlusion bands after your heavier compound exercises and using them for your lighter, higher volume isolation exercises. Why Occlusion Training Works – Quick Guide Occlusion bands restrict venous return of blood from your limbs but not arterial inflow. This gives you a very strong muscle pump and causes an increased build-up of acid and pressure in your muscles which signals for large increases in growth hormone and gonadotrophin. During occlusion training there is also less oxygen available to the working muscles, which causes the fast twitch muscle fibres to do more work because your slow twitch muscle fibres require oxygen. Fast twitch muscle fibres are larger and have a greater capacity for growth. They had potential but they failed at first hurdle
Was looking forward to these, that new product excitement was soon put to bed.Having used various BFR products over the years, many did their jobs without fault and then there has been more than I can remember just an absolute jumper on the bandwagon so to speak, I feel I am qualified enough to say this..... These were one of the later for certaintity. Other than using an expensive Kaatsu cuff system the de facto is often knee wraps and they work a whole lot better and are safer. So where did it all go wrong? Not even fitted close to protocol levels of tightness the velcro tore away mid desent of my last warming up set when squatting. Luckily I wasn't carrying a big weight that the sudden explosion of the stitching breaking and release of pressure otherwise would have sent me off balance and likely cause an injury.Elasticated bands with stitched velcro just do not lend themselves to those who lift big. Maybe fine for the look and the girls whilst sitting around playing instagram inbetween sets but in use the potential danger over cost savings. The issue is the fabric of the loop part of the velcro, and also often brand labels, are stitched when the eleastic is tight, as a result when the elastic expands under pressure the stitching tears apart resulting in a product only fit for the bin.

Great product
Great product. And the after service has been great. They emailed me a training guide with different excersises which was fantastic. The fact they used fat grips on there as even better as I have them as well. Couple of follow up email to sure I'm happy was good as well. The product it's self seems to be built well no issues so far. Not too thin either so doesn't cut of restriction too much. Defiantly notice a difference. My arms feel fuller and not having to use heavy weights to often is also good.

You simply have to try this product! Incredible!!!
Wow! Had a couple of occlusion sessions since buying the straps and they’ve been incredible. The pump is unreal... arms today feel more fatigued than they have in years. The wraps are excellent quality, comfortable, robust and came in very quick time, 100% try these out.

Well made, and tidy to use.
Great quality - I like the way that there is no material left dangling, because its all fastened with velcro.Occlusion training is when you restrict the blood flow to your arms or legs as you train them, in order to pump up the muscle size - it needs to be done carefully; there is lots of information at the manufacturer's website, and of course elsewhere on the internet. The only thing that stops me giving five stars is that the metal loop that the material fits through can be uncomfortable when skin pushes through it.The LARGE is for legs, the MEDIUM is for arms, by the way - I have seen some comments complaining that the large size is too big for arms. It's for legs.

Good quality strap.
I am reviewing this based on fit. I have not used this long enough to see if the science behind it works:I purchased medium size for arm training. My biceps measure at 15inches and the strap was perfect in length. The width of the strap was ok. I had no problem with the width. (I don't have tape measure to hand but my height is 6ft2 just to give an idea of arm length.)I recommend from personal experience to do 30% of 1 rep max when using these. There is a leaflet with the pack which says where to download the e-guide. It's basic but adequate. For the offer price, it is worth a try.

You get what you pay for!
Purchased both arm and leg bands to give it a bash before opting for the more expensive options. First thing to consider is the fact that velcro strips are sewn onto the elastic band...which is the problem. First session tightening these up on my thighs and I heard the rip! Then taking them off, the velcro literally came away from the band. I have relatively big thighs and so, to get an adequate restriction takes some doing, but this seems ridiculous. I didn't tighten them that much! It was my first try of the damn things! The arm/bicep bands have so far done okay (so perhap a faulty set of leg bands?) A) I would recommend setting them up loose before placing on your arms..then tighten when in place. And B) wear a t-shirt....the buckle is super basic and pinches your skin...so consider that. Would recommend you invest in better/more expensive bands. It seems you get what you pay for...

Great bands and they work
I am using the Large occlusion bands for my lower body training as I rehabilitate from a serious knee injury. They have been really great so far - easy to apply and adjust and they feel like they will last! Wearing them for my light strength exercises and exercise bike work.

Too wide
Quick delivery as expected. The product is how you see it, depends on the size of your arms or legs I found these a bit wide so it doesn't actually give me the results I was hoping for. If you got smaller arms you might find it a bit wide to use.
