Each tile is 24" (61cm) x 24" (61cm) x 8mm thick with anti-fatigue properties provided by the soft foam EVA Each mat has 2 pieces straight edges for that perfect finish. Top surface has cork finish and bottom is smooth foam. Please note the cork surface is not sealed. It is recommended once you have laid tiles to add a clear varnish to seal for additional protection. These interlocking Cork tiles are easy to use and can be laid as permanent flooring or temporary. Can set up for shows and exhibitions and then take them home with you when finished ready for the next time. Anyone can lay these tiles and no special tools are required, simply interlock each tile and then use the straight edges to finish. You can cut to fit with a sharp Stanley knife. It could not be simpler! To calculate the area you need to buy take the width of the area and times by the length of the area you want to cover. e.g. if area is 8 feet x 8 feet you will need 64square feet (8 x 8 = 64) Always buy a little over to ensure you cover the whole area.
