ARTEFLAME 17 1/8" X 13 5/8" Half Side Replacement BBQ Grill Griddle for Rectangular BBQ Gas, Electric, or Charcoal Grills

I ordered this griddle after doing some research. The Weber branded griddle costs $30 more (shipping for this item was $20) and it has a porcelin coating. I wanted something closer to cast iron, so this fits the bill. It's very heavy and fits perfectly as a replacement for one of the grills in my Weber. It's solid steel and works great. I've only used it a few times, but it will season nicely over time. Just season it as you would a cast iron pan. It can also sit on top of one of your grills if you want. I wanted a griddle to have more versatility for outdoor cooking. My wife and I were in Australia and New Zealand last year, all the the bbqs there had griddle inserts which was very convenient. Because it's a solid surface, all the heat from the bbq flame is directed to it so it heats up faster than the grills so as lots of the heat is lost between the grills.

no cooking groves or lip it doesn't fit properly. Yes it matches the description so read carefully but in real life its just a piece of steel that has been half assed cut to fit the dimensions of the description. Not black its a steel and rust colored piece of scrap metal.

We bought it for our bbq grill. We really enjoy cooking veggies and hamburgers. Keeps bbq easy to clean up.

Heavy! Nice smooth surface and was easy to season.

Nice even heat. Only wish the grease would not creep around to the underside but rather fall off. Maybe some kind of drip lip?

Fits perfectly on the grill! My husband loves that he can grill and have a flat top at the same time! Cleans up easily!

Was delivered with a dent on bottom. Didn’t want to deal with the return, but will never purchase this brand again.
